We process all website orders Monday - Friday between 9AM and 6PM PST. Orders placed over the weekend or after hours will be processed the following business day unless otherwise stated.

Order Confirmation

Following your purchase, our system will automatically dispatch an order confirmation email to the address you provided. This email signifies that we have received your order and have pre-authorized your credit card for purchase verification.

After receiving your order, we will immediately send the order to our warehouses for shipment. Once we've confirmed the order you purchased is in stock we will ship the item within the estimated business days within the handling time of that product of the date on which you placed your order unless you receive communication from us. If the product is out of stock, we will reach out to you via email and will void the pre-authorization if you so choose.

Order Shipment

Once we've determined that your order is in stock, we will process all charges to your credit card and ship the product within the stated handling time on the date which you placed your order.

Immediately following shipment, we will dispatch a tracking code to the email you provided us at the time you placed your order. If you have not received your tracking information please contact us immediately at support@backyardoas.com.

Damages

Upon arrival, please inspect any and all packaging of your orders. If any damage is noted on the packaging, make note of it at the time you sign for the delivery as this usually means the shipping company is at fault.

If the items you ordered arrive damaged, please send photos of the damage to support@backyardoas.com and we will begin the insurance claim process on your behalf. We will also get in contact with the supplier of that product and begin the process of replacing your item.

Cancellations

Orders that are cancelled from the time you placed your order will be not be charged before shipping.

If the order has shipped, the cancellation will be considered a return at which point the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges and restocking fees.

It is our strict policy to only issue refunds to the credit card that was used when originally placing the order.Please note that for made to order items, we can not accept returns or cancellations.

We have a general 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return assuming the product is in new condition. This varies by brand by brand and the most up to date information can be found on our returns policy page or underneath the product page.To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at support@backyardoas.com . If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at support@backyardoas.com

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
