21-Day Free Returns

Changed your mind? No problem. You have 21 days after receiving your order to request a return, no questions asked.

How it works:1. Email us at hello@essence-amsterdam.com to request your return.2. We'll confirm your return and provide the next steps.3. Ship the item back to us.4. Once approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take a few extra days to appear in your account.

Exchanges

Looking for a different size or model? Simply let us know when you request your return, and we'll arrange an exchange for you — subject to availability.

Damaged or Defective Items

Received an item that's damaged, defective, or not what you ordered? Contact us right away at hello@essence-amsterdam.com . We'll cover the return shipping and arrange a replacement or full refund.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition, unworn and complete with all components. Trying on your jewelry is perfectly fine, but items that show signs of wear or damage cannot be accepted.

Please note: items sent back without a prior return request will not be accepted.

Engraved & Custom Items

Products that have been engraved or customized are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Lifetime Warranty

Every Essence Amsterdam piece is backed by a lifetime guarantee. If your jewelry has a defect in craftsmanship or breaks during normal use, we will repair or replace it free of charge, no questions asked.

To make a warranty claim, simply email us a photo or video of the damage along with your order number. We'll take it from there.

Please note: after a one-time free replacement, any future repairs may be subject to a €50 service fee. The warranty does not cover intentional damage or extreme misuse (such as deep scratches caused on purpose).

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part (wrong item, defective product, or wrong size/color). Shipping delays caused by customs clearance are unfortunately outside of our control and are not eligible grounds for a return.

Order Cancellations

We process and ship orders quickly, so we cannot guarantee cancellations or changes once your order has been placed. If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible at hello@essence-amsterdam.com and we'll do our best to help. Once shipping confirmation has been sent, changes are no longer possible.
