Orders are typically processed within 2 business days (excluding holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Pre-sale orders are shipped within 5 days of receiving the items ordered. If you place an order with a pre-sale item alongside non-presale items fulfillment of your non-presale items may or may not be fulfilled prior to fulfillment of the pre-sale item(s) at our sole discretion. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Occasionally we receive a high volume or orders which necessitates longer than usual fulfillment times. You are able to check the status of your order by checking with us on our Discord Server (https://discord.gg/west3d) which typically gets the quickest response, or emailing us at info@west3d.com and we can give you a fulfillment estimate.

Additionally, there may be times where the West3D fulfillment center is closed. If the fulfillment center is closed we will post notice on a prominent location on our website. In these instances we will fulfill open orders as expeditiously as feasible when we reopen.

We ship using the method selected through the order (which may be based on fulfillment time), however we reserve the right to ship via any method available to us in the following circumstances:

1. Method chosen is Economy

2. Method chosen is not available either by destination or carrier requirements (e.g. actual weight exceeds first class mail limit)

3. Postal holidays or other closures prevent us meeting service levels

4. Customer requests a method other than what was originally selected

5. Another shipping method is available from the same carrier with a shorter or the same delivery time (e.g. Priority mail vs. Parcel Select)

6. Shipping method selected is promotional or free

7. There is an event which may cause the delivery to be delayed if the original shipping method is used (e.g. carrier work strikes, holiday delays)

8. Shipping selected method is excessively more expensive than estimated or the carrier will not accept (extra large boxes, multiple box shipments etc.) Printer kits are almost always shipped ground due to size/weight. If you choose an expedited method we typically split the order to ship the non large/overweight packages with your selected method.

We can only provide estimates on our handling and fulfillment of orders, once the package leaves our fulfillment center we do not provide any guarantee of the length of time a package takes to arrive (see service levels for the given carrier and carrier rate to understand any guarantees provided). Should a package appear to be lost, damaged, or otherwise not satisfactorily delivered please let us know so we can take appropriate action.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Most items qualify for free economy shipping if the order total is above $150 USD for shipments within the continental United States. For some items a flat shipping applies, in such cases we will post a notice on the product pages of the subject items. Items with flat rate shipping policies do not qualify for any free shipping promotions.

Local pickup

If you would like to pick up from our retail location please select Store Pickup during checkout. Pickup orders are generally available within 24hrs, you may also walk in and order products in person.

International Shipping

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Some items we carry are unavailable to be shipped outside the United States. If you have an order you wish to ship internationally but our system is preventing you from checking out please reach out to us at info@west3d.com so we can review your request and check whether or not we can update our shipping policies.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes. As of July 13th 2023 we may offer import duty/tax collection services on the checkout page, this is limited to jurisdictions that are enabled. If taxes are collected the order page will notate it as part of the subtotal. These are remitted by West3D to the appropriate authorities and West3D pays a brokerage fee to process these as a service to our international customers and to reduce the final destination cost. In no event is West3D responsible for additional taxes or fees a foreign jurisdiction may require, this responsibility is retained by the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

We have a 30-day return policy (14 days for European Union - with Right of Withdrawal). This extends for weekends/holidays), which means you have 30 (14 for European Union) days after receiving your item to request a return. Pre-sale items may be returned up until the shipment date (excluding EU Right of Withdrawal), less 3.5% of the total purchase price which helps to cover the processing costs we paid to take the order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. If you have support questions for a return we encourage you to use our Discord Support System (https://discord.gg/west3d) which typically gets the quickest response. To start a return, CLICK HERE . For your convenience returns are fully automated in most cases, and managed through Redo. We typically offer options for either store credit, a refund, or an exchange. Your return label will be generated automatically following submission. We cover the cost of return on all items that are defective, sent in error, or that resulted in any deficiency on our end. Other returns we may deduct the cost of return shipping from the total refund amount. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted. You also have the option of purchasing free returns (for any reason) through Redo.

To avoid fraudulent claims, orders/items in transit verified by the carrier by a scan, or where a delivery was made in error (e.g. carrier says it was delivered but it was not) West3D may at it's sole discretion offer to replace the order following a claim with the carrier, provided the customer provides any details requested related to the shipment/delivery (or missed delivery). Claims are not eligible for a refund unless applicable products on the order are returned. In instances where West3D has made a complimentary replacement on such order and the original order in question does arrive, the customer must notify West3D of the arrival and return the order. West3D will cover the cost of the return in these instances.

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like opened filament, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), or DIY Kits. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. DIY Printer Kits we may accept if they are unopened, or otherwise not 'used', less a 3.5% processing fee to help cover the cost of the transaction fee. In these cases shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items or gift cards.

Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Rewards and Discounted Purchases

Purchases made using rewards will only be refunded up to the amount paid excluding any rewards or discounts applied. Rewards may not be re-applied to the account on returns or cancellations of an order (though gift cards will).
