How long does it take for my order to arrive?

We aim to process and ship orders within one business day of receiving them. Orders being shipped within the continental U.S. should arrive 3-7 business days after it has been shipped. For quicker ship times, please choose either UPS Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air as a shipping option during checkout (only available for US delivery).

Please allow additional transit time for during weekends and holidays and to remote rural areas. Also, please note that UPS Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air orders will not be delivered on weekends. UPS only delivers orders on regular business days (Monday - Friday).

What shipping carriers does breathalyzer.com use?

All breathalyzers are shipped via USPS Mail. For higher valued orders (above $250) or orders over certain size/weight thresholds, we may ship your order using UPS Ground service to provide additional insurance.

International orders are shipped via FedEx International Connect Plus. Please allow roughly 5-7 business days for international orders to clear customs and deliver to final destinations outside the United States. The customer is responsible for all charges associated with the order, including shipping, customs duties, and taxes.

How much does delivery cost?

USPS Ground delivery to U.S. addresses is free for all orders of any size, unless you choose an expedited option at checkout.

We ship to all 50 states, US PO Boxes, US territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

In which states do you charge sales tax?

We do charge sales tax in applicable states. The state tax will be listed on the order when it is placed. If you or your company is tax exempt, please contact us at support@breathalyzer.com with your documentation.

I live outside the United States. Does breathalyzer.com ship international orders? How much will it cost?

breathalyzer.com ships to most countries around the globe. International orders are shipped via FedEx International Connect Plus.

Expedited shipping methods are not available at this time.

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?

Please email support@breathalyzer.com immediately if any item arrives damaged. We will ship a replacement order to you free of charge.

breathalyzer.com stands behind every BACtrack breathalyzer manufactured and sold. We have strict quality assurance procedures that help minimize errors and defects during production, assembly, and initial calibration. If during the first year of operation any BACtrack unit ceases to function properly, breathalyzer.com will repair or replace the defective product at no charge.

It is essential to take proper care of your breathalyzer to avoid having to send the product back for warranty service. Make sure you wait 15-20 minutes after eating, drinking, or smoking before blowing into the tester. BACtrack sensors are an extremely sensitive component. Blowing any residual alcohol, smoke, saliva, or food into the tester can damage your product.

Also, it’s important to use your breathalyzer regularly to keep it in good working order. If your breathalyzer has not been used for an extended period of time (3 weeks or more), the sensor may begin to dry out. To maximize accuracy, clean the sensor by performing a test every few weeks, even if you don't intend on using it. Whether or not alcohol is present on the breath for the sensor cleaning doesn’t matter. The moisture in your breath keeps the sensor performing optimally.

Any item may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund, minus a 15% shipping and restocking fee. Please contact breathalyzer.com Support to get a Return Authorization Number before shipping your item back to us. You will not be reimbursed without a Return Authorization Number from breathalyzer.com staff.

Any item that is not working properly and is still within a warranty period may be returned for an exchange. If your breathalyzer is giving inaccurate readings, please read our Calibration Questions page before returning your product.
