Lead times, availability, shipping arrangements, freight charges, deposits, cancellations, returns, and other order-specific terms may vary by product or project. Grade A Garage will provide or confirm the applicable terms in writing before accepting a special-order or built-to-order commitment. Processing times

•In-stock parts are dispatched from our facility. We will confirm dispatch timing after your order is placed.

•Special-order parts are sourced from the manufacturer or distributor. We will confirm an estimate after your order is placed.

•Built engines, short blocks, long blocks, and head packages are built to order. We will confirm your build slot and estimated completion after your order.

•Custom fabrication is quoted individually.

Any lead time we provide is an estimate, not a guarantee. Supplier backorders on performance parts are common and outside our control. We will keep you informed of any change to your order.

Shipping methods

Small parts ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Large or heavy items such as engines, turbo kits, intercoolers, and exhaust systems ship via LTL freight on a pallet.

Freight deliveries

Freight shipments are curbside delivery only. The carrier will not move the item into a building. If you need a liftgate, residential delivery, or an appointment window, tell us before we ship, as these carry additional charges. Someone must be present to receive and sign for a freight shipment.

Inspect before you sign

Inspect the pallet and the item before signing the delivery receipt. If there is any visible damage, write it on the receipt before you sign. Signing a clean delivery receipt makes a freight damage claim very difficult to recover. Photograph any damage and contact us as soon as possible. Carrier claim deadlines apply and vary by carrier.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout where possible. For freight items, engines, and oversized shipments we may contact you after your order with an accurate freight quote. Rates shown at checkout for oversized items are estimates. Please contact us before ordering if freight is not shown at checkout.

Risk of loss

Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer when the shipment is tendered to the carrier.

International orders

We ship internationally by quote. The buyer is responsible for all duties, taxes, brokerage, and customs fees. These are not included in the price paid at checkout and are not refunded if a shipment is refused.

Grade A Garage sells performance parts, built engines, and custom fabrication. Because of the nature of these products, order-specific terms apply. Please read this page and contact us before ordering if anything is unclear.

What can be returned

Stocked, unused, uninstalled parts in original unopened manufacturer packaging may be eligible for return. Return eligibility, the applicable return window, and any applicable fees will be confirmed by Grade A Garage in writing before a return is authorized.

•A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required before any return is shipped. Email Sales@gradeagarage.com to request one. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused.

•The customer pays return shipping and is responsible for insuring the return shipment.

•Original shipping charges are not refundable.

What cannot be returned

The following are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:

•Built engines, long blocks, short blocks, head packages, crate motors, and any assembled or blueprinted engine assembly

•Special-order and made-to-order items, including turbo kits and components built to your specification

•Custom fabrication work of any kind

•Any part that has been installed, test-fitted, modified, painted, coated, drilled, or otherwise altered

•Engine management and electronics (ECUs, AccessPorts, flash devices, harnesses, sensors) once opened, registered, married to a vehicle, or flashed

•Gaskets, seals, fluids, spark plugs, and other consumables once opened

•Items returned without original packaging, hardware, or instructions

Cancellations

Orders for in-stock items may be cancelled before shipment. For special-order, made-to-order, or built engine products, cancellation and deposit terms will be confirmed in writing by Grade A Garage before the order is accepted.

Shipping damage and shortages

Inspect your shipment on delivery. Note any visible freight damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Report damage, shortages, or incorrect items to Sales@gradeagarage.com as soon as possible after delivery, with photographs. Carrier claim deadlines apply and vary by carrier.

Defective parts and warranty

Parts carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer. Grade A Garage does not provide an independent warranty on parts we resell. If an item arrives defective, contact us and we will help you process a claim with the manufacturer.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been received and inspected. Your bank may take additional time to post the refund.

Off-road and competition use

Many products we sell are intended for off-road or competition use only and are not legal for use on public roads. It is the buyer's responsibility to determine the legality of a part in their jurisdiction.
