HOW YOUR ORDER SHIPS

All items purchased on the Our Boat House website default to Standard Curbside Shipping. Smaller, boxed orders (typically under 30 lb) ship from their respective vendor via UPS Ground, FedEx, or USPS. Orders are shipped by our vendors Monday through Friday; weekend and holiday deliveries are excluded.

For larger items or pieces requiring assembly, the order may need to ship with White Glove Delivery Service — and for some larger pieces, White Glove Delivery is mandatory. We will contact you with this information upon receipt of your order.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

Standard (Curbside) Delivery: your items are left adjacent to the home, but not brought inside. This standard fee is automatically calculated based on the order.

White Glove Delivery: a premium in-home delivery service with an appointment time — pieces are brought into the room of your choice, set up, and all packaging and debris removed. White Glove fees and lead times depend on the delivery location. Please note: White Glove Delivery does not include removal of existing furniture, and the room must be cleared and ready to accept the new pieces, with a clear pathway from the entryway (including hallways and stairways).

We highly recommend upgrading to In-Home White Glove Delivery for furniture.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are calculated based on the type of item ordered, its weight, and its size. Items heavier than normal (for example, large rugs and furniture) may be subject to an additional shipping surcharge — you will be notified for approval of any surcharge before the item ships.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Delivery timing depends on whether your item is in stock locally, in stock with the manufacturer or supplier, on backorder, or made to order — please read the product description carefully. In-stock items generally ship within 3–5 business days; items shipping directly from our suppliers may take longer.

Custom, made-to-order items — such as quote stack books, custom pillows, printed or framed artwork, and driftwood pieces — are built for you after your order is placed and take longer. This is noted in the product description.

MULTIPLE ITEMS

We make every attempt to ship your order complete, but due to stock, some items may stagger in shipment. Pieces stagger into our warehouse for local delivery, so once all items are received, delivery is scheduled for one trip unless otherwise noted. If you are not at the shipping address full time, please let us know.

BACKORDERS

If an item you ordered is no longer in immediate stock, we will notify you by email within 24 hours. If the availability date changes, you'll have the option to proceed with the expected wait time, cancel for a full refund, or sign up for replenishment reminders. If an item is out of stock for more than 60 days, a full refund will be issued unless you choose to wait. Estimated replenishment dates are provided by our suppliers and are not guaranteed.

SHIPPING AREA

Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories are delivered by UPS or USPS at our regular shipping and processing fees, with an additional charge based on packaging. Some heavy or oversized items cannot be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states. We cannot ship outside the continental U.S., and we do not ship to PO boxes due to size and weight restrictions.

INSPECT YOUR DELIVERY

It is your responsibility to ensure the product has not been damaged during shipping — please inspect your goods when they arrive. If an item arrives damaged via curbside or White Glove delivery, refuse the damaged goods with our shipper so they return to the facility for inspection; the inspection determines the resolution, from full replacement to restoring affected areas. If the box looks fine but the piece inside is damaged, contact thecrew@ourboathouse.com with your name, order number, and at least 3 photos of the damage, and an associate will contact you about a replacement, refund, or substitute.

RUSH ORDERS

Depending on the item, we can offer rush service on manufacturing and/or delivery. Each item has a different timeline and fee — call 1-800-473-2137 (select Order Processing) to ask about rush availability for your item. Note: orders placed with a rush or expedited request cannot be cancelled once the process has been rushed at your request.

We understand that sometimes you may need to return or exchange merchandise, and we are happy to accommodate. However,

Item(s) must be shipped back to us at the customer’s expense

Item(s) must arrive in our warehouse in good condition AND in their original packaging. You may open and inspect an item; however, it must be re-packaged exactly the same way it was sent.

A restocking fee of 25% of the merchandise value will be charged for all returns.

Item(s) must be returned within 30 days of receipt.

Shipping fees are nonrefundable

All sales for custom slipcovered/upholstered beds, sofas, sectionals, chairs, ottomans and custom pillows are final. Because each item is made just for you , we are unable to accept returns unless a product is damaged during delivery.

Custom framed Art, Ship Authentic Items, Antiques & one-of-a-kinds are final sales. Customers are responsible for carefully inspecting shipped goods and refusing any product which was damaged while in transit or during delivery.
