Most orders are shipped via UPS & USPS whenever possible, however, larger products are shipped via motor freight. Shipping charges are prepaid and added to your invoice and based on shipping to a commercial address, such as a hospital or physical therapy office.

Motor Freight LTL (Less Than Truckload) Shipments - It is your responsibility to prepare and arrange for your own receiving, unpacking, assembly (if required), placement of merchandise and removal/disposal of debris.

Tartan Group covers the cost of this additional service:

•Lift Gate Service - If your facility does not have a loading dock, a special truck with a hi-lo platform will be dispatched to make the delivery in order to bring your product(s) down to street level.

You may, however, request to include these additional services (PLEASE CALL 800-279-5955 TO ADD ONE OR BOTH SERVICES TO YOUR ORDER).

•24 Hour Advance Notice (ADDITIONAL COST $25) - Where the trucking company calls you in advance to notify you of when they will deliver the product(s). Warning, this added service can slow down your order between 1-3 days.

Inside Delivery (ADDITIONAL COST $150) - Where the trucker brings your merchandise within the first threshold of the building. IMPORTANT: You must be sure that your doorway will accommodate the size of each product or else the driver cannot perform the inside delivery.

Please allow up to 4-6 weeks delivery time for furniture, mats, capital equipment & any products with custom colors. Please also allow up to 10 days transit time when products ship via motor freight from either our manufacturer vendors' warehouses or from our own IL warehouse.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE EXACT TRANSIT TIMES OR EXPECTED DELIVERY DATES for the obvious reason that too many variables can cause conflicts. !!!IMPORTANT!!! CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RE-DELIVERY FEES or RE-DIRECT FEES TO AN ADDRESS OTHER THAN WHAT IS STATED AS THE SHIP-TO ADDRESS ON YOUR ORDER.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS OR REFUSAL TO RECEIVE DELIVERIES: IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDER AFTER A PRODUCT HAS ALREADY SHIPPED TO YOU OR YOU REFUSE TO RECEIVE YOUR DELIVERY, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEES INCURRED UP TO THAT POINT, WHICH INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: DELIVERY CHARGES, RETURN DELIVERY CHARGES, RESTOCKING FEES AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEES.

DAMAGED GOODS: Damaged or short shipments must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the order.Inspect all cartons for damage immediately upon receiving. If a shipment arrives damaged or if the box appears damaged, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:

•Note damage on the delivery bill and have the driver sign it, acknowledging the damage.

•Contact Tartan Group Customer Service within 48 hours of receiving shipment at 1-800-279-5955 to start processing an insurance claim. An order will be entered at that time to replace the merchandise.

•Save the container and merchandise for inspection.

•All returns must have an RGA number (return goods authorization number can be obtained from our Customer Service Department). Please call 1-800-279-5955. All unauthorized returns are subject to a 15% processing fee for supplies and a 20% processing fee for products that ship via motor freight plus a $10 administrative charge.

FREE SHIPPING: For Return items sold with "Free Shipping" or a flat rate shipping -- Customers are responsible for both the delivery and return shipping fees. NO EXCEPTIONS

•All return shipping expenses are paid by the customer. Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving RGA number.

•All returns and exchanges must be in original packaging and received in new and resalable condition. All returns subject to a 15%-20% restocking fee, depending on the type of product.

•In the event that there is a non-functioning component to equipment that was shipped via motor freight, such as, but not limited to a treadmill, exercise bike or treatment table, and in order to mitigate unnecessary shipping costs and other expenses, the manufacturer may exercise their right to perform, at their own cost, a warranty repair and installation of the non-functioning component. If a customer still wishes to return the said product, they will be responsible for all shipping charges back to the manufacturer and manufacturer restocking fees.

•No returns will be accepted after 30 days.

•PRODUCTS MADE PER ORDER and/or CUSTOM COLORED FURNITURE: Much of the equipment that we sell that ships via motor freight and is specially made per order, which includes, but is not limited to: Exercise Stations, Parallel Bars, Training Stairs, Shuttles, Wood & Steel Treatment/Mat Tables in Custom Colors, Stools, Chairs and more, ARE NOT RETURNABLE .

•Sorry, for health/hygiene purposes, we are unable to accept returns on items that are designed to be used against the skin, such as foot products, hand products and soft goods.

•Products that require assembly are not returnable if they have already been unboxed and/or assembled. This includes, but is not limited to electric high-low treatment tables, strength stations, treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, steppers, exercise cable systems (pulley systems), etc. The rationale is that these products cannot be sold as new once they have been unboxed and/or assembled. Tartan Group does not sell used equipment.

PRODUCT TRAINING: Tartan Group personnel do not provide nor are we permitted to engage in technical on-site or video training for the products that we sell to end-users. It is the manufacturers' responsibility to provide direct training to the "end-user," either in the form of pre-recorded videos, online or on-premises technical training. The logic is that it is the manufacturer/maker of the product who must train the "end-users" (the people who ultimately use the product) on how to operate said products, rather than the dealer or retailer to provide that training because manufacturers, especially those of technical medical equipment sold to medical practitioners, have the deepest understanding of their products' features and functionality and want to ensure users are getting the most out of their products.
