RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Thank you for shopping with Broochiton. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review this policy before requesting a return, exchange, cancellation or refund.

30-Day Return Policy

Unless an exception stated below applies, you may request a return within 30 days after delivery of the last item in your order.

To qualify for a return under our voluntary 30-day return policy, the item must:

•Be in the same condition in which it was received

•Be unworn, unused and undamaged

•Have its original tags attached

•Be returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible

•Include the receipt, order confirmation or other proof of purchase

These voluntary return conditions do not reduce any mandatory consumer rights, including the European Union right of withdrawal described below.

To request a return, select Returns and cancellations in the footer of our website and open the relevant order. You may also email info@broochiton.com before sending the item back.

For voluntary returns under our 30-day return policy, items sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted. This requirement does not limit any statutory right of withdrawal or other mandatory consumer right.

If your return is approved, we will provide the return address and shipping instructions. The approved return address may vary depending on the product and your location.

Return Shipping Costs

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires us to cover the cost.

If we provide a prepaid return shipping label, the cost of the label may be deducted from your refund. We will inform you of the amount before the return is completed.

If the item is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from its description, Broochiton will cover the reasonable return shipping cost where appropriate.

We do not charge a restocking fee.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Broochiton is not responsible for returned packages that are lost or damaged before reaching the authorised return address, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Order Cancellations

You may request cancellation of an eligible order at any time before the item is fulfilled.

If an item has already been fulfilled or shipped, we may be unable to stop its delivery. However, this does not prevent an eligible European Union consumer from exercising any statutory right of withdrawal before delivery or during the applicable withdrawal period. If the shipment cannot be stopped, we will provide appropriate return instructions.

Products made to a customer’s specifications or clearly personalised are not eligible for voluntary cancellation or return and may be exempt from statutory withdrawal rights where permitted by applicable law. As a goodwill exception, Broochiton may approve a cancellation if production has not started, but approval is not guaranteed.

This restriction does not affect rights relating to products that are defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from the approved design or description.

Damaged, Defective, Missing or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if:

•The item is defective or damaged

•You received the wrong item

•An item is missing

•The item is materially different from its description

Please include your order number and clear photographs of the item, packaging and shipping label where relevant.

We will review the matter and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, repair, refund or another suitable remedy. Mandatory consumer rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods are not affected by this policy.

Custom and Personalised Products

Products made to a customer’s specifications or clearly personalised are not eligible for voluntary change-of-mind returns or cancellations and may be exempt from statutory withdrawal rights where permitted by applicable law.

This includes, where applicable:

•Custom embroidered patches created from customer-supplied artwork or specifications

•Personalised patches or accessories

•Products featuring names, logos, artwork or custom text

•Specially commissioned designs

•Other products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised

For custom products, production may begin after approval of the final digital proof. Broochiton may, at its discretion, approve a cancellation before production starts, but approval is not guaranteed.

This restriction does not apply when the product is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from the approved design or description.

Earrings and Hygiene-Sensitive Products

For genuine health and hygiene reasons, pierced earrings that are supplied in sealed protective hygiene packaging may not be returned after the hygiene seal has been opened, broken or removed.

Unopened earrings with the hygiene seal intact may be eligible for return under this policy.

This restriction does not affect your rights if the earrings are defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Sale and Final-Sale Items

Discounted items remain eligible for return unless they were clearly identified as Final Sale before purchase.

Items clearly marked Final Sale are not eligible for return under our voluntary 30-day return policy.

This exclusion does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Exchanges

The fastest way to obtain a different product, colour, style or size is to return the original eligible item and place a separate order after the return has been approved.

European Union Right of Withdrawal

If an eligible order is delivered to a consumer in the European Union, the customer may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without providing a reason.

For goods, the withdrawal period begins when the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, receives the goods.

If one order is delivered in multiple shipments, the withdrawal period begins after the final item is delivered.

If the final day of the withdrawal period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day where applicable.

EU customers may exercise their right of withdrawal before delivery or during the applicable withdrawal period by selecting Returns and cancellations in the footer of our website and submitting the request for the relevant order.

Customers will be asked to confirm their request electronically. We will send an electronic acknowledgement without undue delay, including the content of the request and the date and time it was submitted.

Customers may also exercise their right of withdrawal by emailing a clear withdrawal statement to info@broochiton.com .

The request should include:

•The customer’s full name

•The order number

•The email address used for the order

•The product or products being withdrawn

•A clear statement that the customer wishes to withdraw from the purchase

After notifying us of the withdrawal, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after submitting the withdrawal request.

Unless Broochiton agrees otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Customers are informed of this responsibility before completing their purchase.

Customers may inspect the goods only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. The customer may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what would normally be permitted when examining an item in a physical shop.

The European Union right of withdrawal may not apply to exempt products, including:

•Products made to the customer’s specifications

•Clearly personalised products

•Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for genuine health or hygiene reasons after the seal has been opened

•Other products excluded under applicable consumer law

European Union Refunds

When an eligible EU customer withdraws from the entire order, we will refund all payments received for that order, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

If the customer withdraws from only part of an order, any refund of the original delivery cost will be determined in accordance with applicable law.

If the customer selected express, expedited or another delivery method costing more than our least expensive standard delivery option, the additional delivery cost is not refundable.

The refund will be issued to the original payment method, unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the withdrawal. The customer will not incur fees as a result of the refund.

For goods, we may withhold the refund until:

•We receive the returned goods; or

•The customer provides satisfactory evidence that the goods have been returned

The refund will be processed when the first of these conditions is satisfied.

The European Union right of withdrawal is separate from the customer’s mandatory rights relating to defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods.

General Refunds

We will notify you after receiving and inspecting your returned item and tell you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be issued automatically to the original payment method, normally within 10 business days.

Original shipping charges are not normally refundable for voluntary change-of-mind returns outside the European Union unless:

•The product was defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied

•The entire order was cancelled before fulfilment

•Applicable law requires the shipping charge to be refunded

Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to process and display the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed that your refund was issued, please email info@broochiton.com .
