Returns & RefundsAt Zao & Co, we take great care in handcrafting our products. Many of our items are personalised and made to order, which means they are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in the case of a defect or fault.

For non-custom items, we follow the standard consumer regulations that apply in each country:

Return window: Non-custom items may be returned within 30 days of delivery (14 days in the UK & EU, as required by law).

Personalised/custom products: These are not eligible for return unless defective.

Return method: Returns must be requested by email before shipping items back.

If the item is defective or faulty, return shipping is covered by us.

For eligible non-custom returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

Exchanges: If stock is available, we are happy to exchange defective items.
