Production and shipping timeline

Production typically takes 3 to 8 weeks after design approval, depending on the size and complexity of the piece. After production, shipping takes 1 to 3 weeks depending on the destination.

Total estimated delivery time: 4 to 11 weeks from order confirmation.

How we ship

Every piece is hand-crated in a custom-built wooden crate sized to its dimensions. The crate is padded, labeled, and insured for safe delivery.

We ship through carriers that specialize in furniture and oversized goods. You receive a tracking number as soon as the piece ships, and we stay in contact through delivery.

Customs and duties

Customs duties and import taxes may apply depending on the destination country. These charges are set by local governments, not by us, and are the responsibility of the recipient. We're happy to share the information needed for smooth customs clearance.

Damaged shipments

Every order is insured during transit. If your piece arrives with any damage, contact us at hello@onyxresin.com within 7 days of delivery with photographs and your order number. We will handle the insurance claim and arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Every Onyx Resin piece is custom-made to order based on the customer's specifications. Because each piece is unique to its buyer, we do not accept returns or exchanges on completed orders.

We work closely with every customer through our AI-rendered preview and design refinement process before production begins. This ensures the design is exactly what you want before any wood is cut. By approving the design and paying the deposit, you confirm the specifications of your piece.

Damaged or defective items

Every order is fully insured during shipping. If your piece arrives with damage or a manufacturing defect, contact us at hello@onyxresin.com within 7 days of delivery and include:

•Photographs of the damage

•Your order number

•A short description of the issue

We will handle the insurance claim and arrange a remedy at no cost to you. Depending on the nature of the damage, we may offer:

•Repair of the affected area

•Full replacement of the piece

•Partial refund if you prefer to keep the piece with minor damage

The chosen remedy depends on the extent of the damage and your preference.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time before the deposit is paid, at no cost. Once the deposit is paid and the design approved, cancellation is no longer possible as production materials are reserved and crafting begins.

If you wish to cancel within 48 hours of paying the deposit and before production has started, contact us immediately. We may offer a partial refund of the deposit at our discretion, minus any costs already incurred.

Misrepresented orders

If your finished piece does not match the approved AI-rendered preview and final specifications, contact us at hello@onyxresin.com within 7 days of delivery. We will review the case and, if a meaningful discrepancy is confirmed, arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

European Union customers

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to goods that are made-to-order or clearly personalized to the consumer's specifications. As every Onyx Resin piece is custom-made for the customer, our pieces are exempt from this right of withdrawal. The damage and defect protections above apply worldwide.

Refunds

If a refund is approved (in cases of damage, defect, or misrepresentation), it will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.
