DELIVERY INFORMATION

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES: the couriers will contact you about any customs charges and taxes. Please respond promptly, if deliveries fail because the customs charges and taxes are not paid in time, the return costs will be deducted from your refund.

Delivery pricing is determined by both weight and size and our online ordering accurately determines the cost for you. Sometimes couriers will send an SMS or email with tracking, we cannot guarantee that they will be able to phone before delivery.

Orders over £300.00 (*excluding VAT and delivery) shipped from our warehouse are eligible for Free Delivery to Great Britain. Some other European destinations qualify for a free or reduced delivery rate once the product total reaches £500.00 if payment is made by bank transfer. Payments must be received within 7 days for an order to qualify for free delivery.

Some items are shipped directly from the supplier and incur additional charges which will be shown in the checkout, these items do not qualify towards the free delivery total and may take 6 weeks to deliver.

Nienhuis (including GAM and Heutink items) orders may be sent to us from the Netherlands and then forwarded to you along with the rest of your order , please allow about 4 weeks for delivery, some items may take considerably longer, but we are doing our best to keep deliveries within 4 weeks and where possible can sometimes deliver in about 2 weeks. You can select the split delivery option if you do not want the rest of the order delayed.

Nienhuis , GAM & Heutink items will incur a single joint shipping charge in addition to items from our UK warehouse, these items are shown as (NL) in the basket and if they are included the Nienhuis delivery (NL) charge will show in the checkout.

Our delivery service is with Royal Mail / post for lighter orders, and established courier firms for larger orders. For courier orders, we can provide a tracking reference for you to manage the delivery.

Our different shipping classes are:

POST UNTRACKEDFor postal delivery generally within 1 week in the UK and longer abroad. This option has no tracking and the liability for non-delivery is with the receiver. Long items (over 61cm) cannot be sent by post so please opt for tracked delivery for these items.

GB MAINLAND STANDARD TRACKED (NOT HIGHLANDS/SEA CROSSINGS)For standard tracked delivery within 1 week throughout mainland England and Wales and most of Scotland. This option does not cover the remote Scottish Highlands or any sea crossings. Free on orders over £300.00 ex VAT. Excludes Nienhuis items which will be delivered at an additional charge and will delay the delivery. You can select the split delivery option if you do not want the rest of the order delayed.

UK HIGHLANDS & ISLAND, NORTHERN IRELAND & CHANNEL ISLANDS STANDARD TRACKEDFor standard delivery throughout Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands or any UK islands. Excludes Nienhuis items which will be delivered at an additional charge and will delay the delivery. You can select the split delivery option if you do not want the rest of the order delayed.Smaller items can be sent by untracked post or discounted options are available.

UK EXPRESSNext working day delivery for orders completed before 10am. Excludes Nienhuis items which will be delivered separately at an additional charge. Not available at busy periods when this option will give your order priority over all other orders to be despatched as soon as possible.

UK MAINLAND PRIORITY WEEKEND DELIVERYDelivery on Saturday or Sunday to England, Wales and Southern Scotland. Excludes Nienhuis items which will be delivered separately at an additional charge. Order by 4pm Thursday.Prices are double the express rate, please state day preferred.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

We do not charge UK VAT on international orders but please understand that you may be charged your own country's taxes and customs charges and that if you do not pay these your order will be returned to us and we will deduct any shipping or return charges from your refund. EU deliveries require an EORI number (we cannot send to EU residential addresses), EORI numbers are easily available from your government. If you have an EU (VIES) recognised VAT number please enter this and your EORI number. Please see our FAQs page for details about EORI numbers.

Please ensure you are aware of any import processes required for your country, and arrange these in advance with us. It is your responsibility if the delivery fails if we have not been notified of an EORI number or any customs requirements of which we have not been made aware. It is important that you check that the goods you are ordering are permitted to be imported into your destination country. Absorbent Minds Ltd does not accept liability for costs incurred if ordered goods are refused entry. Overseas customers must pay all due customs and duties and understand that Absorbent Minds Ltd cannot refund purchases that are refused delivery due to unpaid customs charges. For any returned items, the customer will incur an additional charge.

BELGIUM, FRANCE, GERMANY, LUXEMBOURG, NETHERLANDS, IRELANDFor standard delivery within 1 week * . Discounted on orders over £500.00 ex VAT. Excludes Nienhuis items which will be delivered at an additional charge. We may need to contact you to pay VAT if Nienhuis items are to be delivered to you directly from Holland, unless you have a VIES recognised EU VAT number.

OTHER EU MAINLAND COUNTRIES

For standard delivery within 1 week * . Discounted on orders over £500.00 ex VAT to some destinations. Excludes Nienhuis items which will be delivered at an additional charge. We may need to contact you to pay VAT if Nienhuis items are to be delivered to you directly from Holland, unless you have a VIES recognised EU VAT number.

CAN I DELAY THE DELIVERY OF MY ORDER FOR A FEW WEEKS?If you would like to delay your order beyond one week, please add this storage item to your order: http://www.absorbentminds.co.uk/one-calendar-month-s-warehouse-storage.html . The charge is for each month or part month that your order is stored prior to despatch. Please let us know the week in which you would like to receive delivery. If you would like delivery on a named day, please choose the express/priority shipping option.

WORLDWIDE DESTINATIONS

Standard delivery within 2 weeks (within 1 week to USA), additional charges for Nienhuis/Heutink/GAM items which may take longer to deliver. Please contact us for express delivery options.

You may be liable for customs charges when you import to countries outside the UK.

Costs are calculated in checkout based on actual or volumetric weight.

We cannot normally deliver to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses, please use your geographical address.

Some destinations may incur surcharges if they involve sea crossings from the mainland or are in remote areas.

*A COMBINATION OF BREXIT AND COVID MAY CAUSE DELAYS TO DELIVERIES TO THE EU. WE ARE SORRY FOR THESE DELAYS THAT ARE TOTALLY OUT OF OUR CONTROL.

Returns and Refunds procedureWe hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 14 days) and in original, undamaged packaging. No reason is necessary for the return, but notice should be given in writing (an e-mail will suffice) and by returning the goods (at your risk and cost). This right will have been fulfilled if you return the goods unused and in perfect and resaleable condition in their original undamaged packaging before the expiry of this period. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, or the packaging is marked or damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct a percentage of the original selling price from the refund amount. We will refund the value of the goods purchased but not postage charges you might incur. Where an item returned was from a pack of bundled items the item will be refunded at 25% off its normal list price. If multiple items are returned we reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee. For items named (NL) Nienhuis deduct a 10% restocking fee for all returns to them that are in perfect resaleable condition, you are liable for all costs of returning to the Netherlands including customs charges. Bank transfer payments are refunded by credit to your account with us rather than the money being returned to your bank account, you can also opt for this account credit instead of refunds for other payment methods. Apart from account credits, all other refunds are subject to a £2 or 3% charge (whichever is greatest) because we are not fully refunded by our card processing provider.

Please note that your right to return products does NOT apply to products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty:

•Goods made to your specification

•PDF files as these cannot be returned

•Goods ordered especially for you from a third party supplier [For (NL) items see *below]

If items are missing or have been damaged during the delivery process it is essential that you email us within 48 hours of receipt, it is essential that you keep the packaging and take pictures of the outer packaging and the damage. If a product is faulty rather than damaged please notify us within 8 days with a picture showing the fault.

Please could you include the notes below with your item and also email this information to us so we can deal with the issue promptly when we receive your return:

Please pack all items carefully and do not mark their original boxes. Please ensure items are returned in their original undamaged packaging so they can be resold, we reserve the right to discount your refund if we have to resell on the outlet page if items and their packaging are not returned in perfect resaleable condition. We would not normally accept returns of products notified to us after 8 days of delivery.

If your return brings your order total below the threshold for free or discounted delivery, you will be charged the full delivery cost for the items on your original order.

*Nienhuis/Heutink/GAM (NL) items may need to be returned directly to Holland, please contact us for a return number for any of these items you wish to return. They will be sent at the returner's risk and cost including any customs charges which should be prepaid DDP. Nienhuis deduct a 10% restocking fee for all returns.
