Applies only to orders sent Standard Post within Canada (before taxes). Oversized items will be charged an oversize fee, see below. Orders under $99 will be subject to a shipping fee.

There is a $20 minimum cart total for shipping. Orders will be shipped without requiring a signature for delivery by default, a signature can be requested for any shipment at no charge in the order notes.

Orders with a delivery address in Banff will be changed to an In-Store Pickup.

We do not ship to temporary addresses, e.g. hotels.

Don't need it shipped?

All items on monodsports.com are available for in-store pickup at no charge. Select Pickup in store at checkout and you will be notified when your order is ready. If you need an item same day, it would be best to purchase it In Store.

Pickup location is 129 Banff Ave, Banff. Orders placed before 9am are usually ready for the afternoon. In Store Pickup orders will not be processed on Statutory Holidays. For customers who won't be picking up soon after ordering, your orders will be held until you can come by.

Skis having bindings mounted will take additional time before they are ready.

All orders ship from our store in Banff, AB, and may take 1–2 business days to process, in addition to the delivery estimates shown. Estimates are most-accurate for urban centres. Post office boxes, rural or remote locations may take longer. Shipping estimates do not include the day the parcel is picked up by the carrier. Orders are processed and shipped out Monday to Friday.

Processing and shipping times, including Express shipping times, will be longer during sales and busy periods.

Returns/refunds cannot be issued until there has been a successful delivery of the package or an investigation by the courier has concluded the package is lost.

Shipping to USA

We are not currently shipping to the US.

Orders shipped outside Canada are not charged Canadian taxes. However, beginning August 29, 2025 , all packages entering the U.S. will be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs processing fees , regardless of order value. Monod Sports cannot estimate or collect these fees at checkout.

A customs invoice will arrive with your parcel, or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional charges directly to USPS before delivery.

Between August 29, 2025 and February 28, 2026 , U.S. Customs is applying temporary flat-rate duties on postal shipments:

$80 per package for lower-tariff countries (including Canada, where applicable)

$160–$200 per package for higher-tariff countries

After March 2026, duties will be assessed as a percentage of the product value (“ad valorem”).

Unfortunately we do not currently ship outside Canada and the USA.

Oversize Shipping

A flat rate of $21 ($25 for US orders) will be automatically added at checkout if the the following items are in your cart:

•Poles

•Backpacks over 35 liters

•Travel bags i.e. luggage bag, ski bags, etc.

•Soft coolers

•Large tents and sleeping bags

•Large stoves

The oversize fee of $21 is in addition to your selected shipping method.

Pickup Only Products

Some products are not eligible to be shipped due to carrier restrictions or are cost prohibitive to ship. Customers will not be able to checkout with the Ship delivery option with any of these products in their cart:

•Bear Spray/Bangers

•Fuel

•Hard Coolers

•Chairs

Ski purchases

All skis purchased with bindings on the website can be delivered within Canada with the bindings mounted. To have your bindings mounted, fill out the form linked below.

Note: we cannot mount bindings for orders to the US.

Mounting Form

All orders containing skis will be charged a flat oversize non-refundable fee of $35 ($75 for US orders) on top of your selected shipping method.

We do not provide Express shipping for skis.

Note: There is no oversize fee for in-store pickups, binding mounts will add to processing time for shipping and In Store Pickups.

Holidays

During the holidays, our processing time and the carriers delivery time will be longer than the normal estimates. To help your orders arrive before Christmas, please order before December 12th.

Unclaimed Packages

Once the package had been delivered it is the customers responsibility. In the event a package goes unclaimed the carrier will return it to us and the customer will be responsible for a shipping charge to have the package resent.

Bulk Orders/Reseller Orders

Anyone placing large orders or ordering for the purpose of reselling will need to checkout using PayPal for verification. Gift Cards will not be sold or redeemed to Bulk Buyers or Resellers.

We reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

The policy

Nearly all online orders (see exceptions below) shipped within Canada are eligible for returns. You can either bring your item back into the store or request a shipping label to mail the item back to us for a small return shipping fee. We don't provide exchanges for a different size/colour, simply return your order and place a new one.

All items discounted 30% off or more are considered final sale.

Oversized items are subject to additional fees at the cost of the customer.

Items purchased in-store will not be sent a shipping label.

A shipping label will not be provided for U.S. orders, the customer is responsible for shipping the product to the store.

No returns for special orders/bulk buyers/resellers.

Most items can be returned

Almost all items purchased on monodsports.com can be returned. An item is returnable if all following conditions are met:

•item(s) was received within the past 15 days.

•Item(s) is unused/unopened and has all original tags and packaging.

•Item(s) is not excepted from returns (see below)

Final Sale

All items marked final sale on the product page are non returnable.

All items discounted 30% off or more are considered final sale.

Undergarments/Socks/Swimwear

For hygiene reasons, items such as face masks, socks, sanitary devices, and undergarments (including all types of swimwear, underwear bottoms and bike chamois), are not eligible for returns.

Ski Gear

Skis purchased online are only eligible for in-store returns. Any skis that get bindings mounted to them are final sale and cannot be returned online or in-store.

For safety reasons, all binding sales are final sale, as well as avalanche transceivers and airbags.

Climbing Gear

For safety reasons, all climbing equipment excluding rock climbing shoes, backpacks, and chalk bags are not eligible for returns. This includes harnesses, helmets, ropes, quickdraws, carabiners, cams, belay devices, slings, pulleys, ascenders, descenders, axes, crampons, and nuts.

Special Orders/Bulk Orders/Resellers

Any item part of a special order (an order placed directly with our in-store buyers), a bulk order (clients buying numerous items in large amounts), or for resellers is final sale and not returnable.

Monod Sports reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in the Return Policy at any time and in Monod Sport's sole discretion.

Holidays

Any item purchased between November 1st and December 24th will be eligible for return until January 10th. Other restrictions still apply.

Refunds

A full refund minus a return shipping fee of $9.99 will be issued to the original payment method once the item is received back in-store. Items returned in store will not be subject to a return shipping fee.
