Order processing

Most in-stock orders ship within 1–2 business days from our Texas warehouse. Express orders placed after 12 PM EST ship the next business day. Orders over 150 lbs ship by freight (see Freight & oversized items below).

Free shipping

We offer free ground shipping on orders of $75 or more within the contiguous United States — this includes all of our greenhouse and hoop-house kits. Free orders ship via the lowest-cost ground service (UPS, FedEx, or USPS). Orders under $75, plus all Alaska, Hawaii, PO Box, and international orders, are rated at checkout. PO Boxes ship via USPS and are not eligible for free shipping.

Where we ship

We ship worldwide. Estimated ground transit from our Texas warehouse (business days from ship date, estimates only):

•South Central (TX, OK, AR, LA): 1–2 business days

•Southeast & Midwest: 2–3 business days

•Northeast & Mountain West: 3–4 business days

•West Coast & Pacific Northwest: 4–5 business days

•Alaska, Hawaii & international: rated at checkout

Transit times exclude weekends and holidays. Expedited 2-Day and Overnight options are available at checkout.

International orders

All international orders ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — duties, taxes, and customs fees are calculated and collected at checkout, so nothing is owed on delivery. Transit times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing.

Freight & oversized items (150 lbs+)

Large items and kits ship by LTL freight on a pallet, delivered curbside. Please be available to receive and inspect your shipment, and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing — this is required to file a freight damage claim. A liftgate (to lower the pallet to the ground) is available for an additional fee; appointment delivery can be arranged.

Local pickup

Local pickup at our facility is available by request. Contact us before ordering to arrange.

Tracking

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Order changes & cancellations

Need to change or cancel an order? Contact us before it ships and we'll take care of it. If an order is returned because of an incorrect address provided at checkout, the customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping.

Damaged or lost packages

If your order arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, contact us within 5 days of delivery and we'll make it right. For freight, also note any damage on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.

Shipping refunds

Standard ground shipping charges are non-refundable. For guaranteed express services, the shipping charge is refundable if the carrier misses its published delivery deadline.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable or sanitary goods such as seeds, flowers or growing media cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that have been customized.Additional non-returnable items:

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

•Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

•Non-Returnable Items where we have explicitly in writing agreed to accept a return.

•Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable)Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@bootstrapfarmer.com.Late or missing refunds (if applicable)If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.Next contact your bank. Paris, TX 75462, United States.GiftsIf the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

ShippingTo return your product, you should mail your product to: 960 Texas Hwy 24. Paris, TX 75462 , United States. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Shipping, duties and VAT is not refundable.
