We offer delivery throughout Ireland, including Northern Ireland, for furniture, lighting, and accessories.

Lead times vary depending on the product type and availability and are shown on each product page. Please note that all lead times are estimates and may be subject to change. Delays do not entitle customers to compensation. Bespoke or made-to-order items may require 12–16 weeks.

Remote areas: Cork, Donegal, Kerry, Mayo, Sligo, Northern Ireland

Delivery is carried out by a single driver, with a delivery appointment arranged at least one day in advance. All deliveries are made to the first door. Please note that delivery does not include assembly or disassembly of any products.

Some deliveries, usually those to more remote locations, may be carried out via pallet delivery service. In such cases, the item will be delivered palletised, and unpacking/disposal of packaging is the responsibility of the customer.

Free Delivery & Returns Policy

If your order qualifies for free delivery (orders over €4000) and you later decide to return all or part of the order, the delivery and collection costs will be recalculated.

If, after the return, the total order value falls below €4000, the applicable delivery charge based on the revised order value will be deducted from your refund.

This ensures that delivery charges are applied fairly in line with the final order value.

1. How to return my order?

If you have changed your mind about an online purchase, you have 14 days from the day you received your order to inform us of your intention to return your purchase.

You can contact us by phoning our Customer Service team on +353 (01) 850 0079 or by emailing us at sales@woodesign.ie .

Please email us and include the following information:

•Your order number

•The name of the item you wish to return

Important: The return method must be confirmed by our team. Only small, standard-sized items may be returned directly to our warehouse, and this must be approved by us in advance. In most cases, collection will be arranged by us, and the cost of collection will be equal to the original delivery charge.

We will respond to your message as quickly as we can and process your refund once the item has been returned and inspected.

Return terms & conditions:

•To receive a full refund for your online order, the item must be in resaleable, "as new" condition, not assembled, and in the original, undamaged packaging.

•You are responsible for ensuring that the product is returned in suitable packaging and condition.

•If unable to return your product(s) yourself, we will arrange a collection (Monday to Saturday) if requested. A collection fee equal to the delivery cost will apply based on product size.

•Any item(s) returned without original packaging or in packaging unsuitable for resale will incur a minimum 30% restocking fee. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure satisfaction with the product before disposing of any packaging.

•Accessory & furniture items will be returned at the customer's own expense if deemed unsuitable.

•We will not reimburse costs incurred by using return methods other than those confirmed by us.

•Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within approximately 10 days of the return being received and approved.

Online returns exclusions:

We are unable to offer a return on the following products:

•Made-to-order items

•Floor models

•Display models

Please ensure you measure your space accurately before placing an order. Be sure to consider staircases, doorways, and other tight access points when ordering furniture.

The goods remain your responsibility until they reach us, so please ensure they are packaged securely to avoid damage in transit. Items returned in unsatisfactory condition may be rejected and sent back to you. When posting items, always obtain proof of postage.

2. How to return a damaged product?

We want to ensure you are fully satisfied with your goods upon delivery. Please check all items immediately after unpacking to confirm they were not damaged in transit.

Any damaged or faulty products must be reported as soon as possible, and no later than 2 days after delivery, by emailing claims@woodesign.ie .

Please include the following information:

•Your order number

•Name of the damaged/defective item

Please note: It is essential to keep all original packaging. Without it, a return or claim cannot be processed.

We will arrange the collection of the item, and upon inspection at our warehouse, we will either issue a refund or send a replacement at our expense.

If your item requires assembly, please ensure you have all parts and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. We are not responsible for products that have been incorrectly assembled or installed. We recommend using qualified professionals for installation.

Damage caused by misuse or accidental damage is not covered under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980.

Note: Many of our products are handmade or made from recycled materials and may have natural variations in finish or shape.

3. Changing or Cancelling Orders

Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order (provided it is not custom-made) before delivery or within 14 working days of delivery.

The right to cancel does not apply in the following cases:

•Sealed goods related to health or hygiene that have been unsealed after delivery

•Goods that have been mixed inseparably with other items after delivery

If you cancel within 14 days after dispatch, you then have 14 more days to return the goods. You are responsible for the return costs, unless otherwise agreed with us. If goods are not returned within 14 days of cancellation notice, we may arrange collection and charge you the collection cost.

We reserve the right to deduct costs for any returned goods that show signs of damage. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of the return, provided the item is in acceptable condition.

To assist us in identifying your return, please include your phone number on the return label or accompanying documentation.

This does not affect your statutory rights in the event that the goods are faulty.
