Please note the following regarding your request to pick-up your merchandise at one of our showroom locations and to transport it using your personal vehicle:

Scandinavian Designs and Dania Furniture fully disclaim any and all liability for personal injury, damage, or property loss related to loading, unloading, transport, self-installation, or assembly. As such, we are not responsible for any damage to property, personal injury, damage to customer vehicles, or to others and their property that may occur during these activities. Additionally, we are under no obligation to repair, replace, exchange, or refund merchandise in such cases where damage results from loading, unloading, self-installation and assembly.

For safety reasons, we do not allow merchandise to be loaded onto the roof of any vehicle under any circumstances.

The customer is fully responsible for the merchandise once it is released to me at the dock, voluntarily assume all associated risks, and hereby release Scandinavian Designs and Dania Furniture from any and all liability for property damage, personal injury, or damage to my vehicle or to others and their property that may result from these activities.

Loading Assistance

* If Customer requests assistance loading or unloading, Scandinavian Designs and Dania Furniture fully disclaim any and all liability for personal injury, damage, or property loss related to loading, unloading, transport, self-installation, or assembly. Customer must sign a Merchandise Loading Liability Release prior to receiving any such assistance. Additional fees apply.

Estimated Shipping and Delivery

We quote estimated times of arrival as accurately as possible. However, some orders may be delayed beyond our quoted time due to unforeseen circumstances. We are unable to discount due to production or shipping delays.

Delivery To Your Home

Before delivery of your product, there are a set of simple steps that can be taken to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery, including measuring your space in advance, and clearing a path for delivery.

Rescheduled deliveries

We reserve the right to charge a rescheduling fee in the event that you need to reschedule your delivery and do not provide us with sufficient notice. Rescheduling fees start at $49 per incident. Please note that if you are not at home at the time of your agreed- upon scheduled delivery, you will incur the expense of the original delivery fee and be charged for a second delivery.

Shipping Rates

Orders consisting only of small parcels (lighting, accessories, etc.) most often ship within 1 week of placing the order.

Shipping time for furniture orders sometimes depends on your location. When you place your order, our Customer Care team will contact you to finalize delivery arrangements.

Deluxe delivery fees will increase for shipping addresses that are approximately 100 city miles or more from store locations. Enter your zip code before checking out or contact your local store to confirm the corresponding zone for your zip code.

All returns, whether delivered by us or picked up, for reasons other than damage, defect, or error, are subject to a restocking fee of at least 20% of the original purchase price. The exact fee depends on the item’s condition and packaging. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is an even exchange or due to damage or defect. Please note that original delivery fees are non-refundable.

For Items Delivered by Us or Our Delivery Partners:You may return items within 14 calendar days of delivery, if they are in the same condition as received and pass our inspection as resalable. If the item is not deemed resalable, damaged or missing parts, we are not obligated to accept the return or issue a refund.

For Pickup Orders:Items picked up from our locations may be returned within 14 calendar days, provided they are unopened and in their original condition. If the item does not meet these requirements, we may either reject the return or issue a refund in the form of store credit, depending on the condition of the item and its packaging.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN

Custom Orders: Custom orders are made to your individual specifications and are not eligible for return, refund or exchange.

Mattresses and Sleeping Pillows: Due to federal and state regulations, we will not accept returns, offer refunds, or exchange any mattresses or sleeping pillows.

“As-Is” and “Final Sale”: Items sold in “As-Is” or “Final Sale” condition are offered at a significant discount and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchange or warranties through Scandinavian Designs, Dania Furniture, or the manufacturer. These transactions are classified as “As-Is” and “Final Sale.” Additionally, for such purchases, we make no guarantee of our ability to source replacement parts nor are we obligated to do so.

Outlet: Items purchased at any of our Outlet stores are not eligible for return, or refunds.

REFUNDS

If your original payment was made by personal check, cash, Apple Pay, or by bank or credit card without presenting the card in-store, a refund check will be mailed to you within 21 days. Refunds will be issued to the original card used and are subject to the return processing timelines of your card issuer for online purchase and purchases made in-store with a bank or credit card that is presented in-store at the time of return. Refund amounts will reflect the original purchase price minus any delivery fees, applicable restocking fees, or return delivery charges.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

To cancel an order before it ships, please contact us as soon as possible.

• If the order has already been packed at one of our Distribution Centers, a 10% restocking fee may apply.

• If the order has arrived at a local showroom, a 20% restocking fee and return shipping charges may apply.

PRODUCT ARRIVES DAMAGED

Please inspect all items upon delivery before signing. If something is damaged or missing but still usable, please keep the item and contact us for a replacement part or repair. If the item is unusable, you are under no obligation to accept delivery of the item(s). Damaged items will be repaired or exchanged at no cost, but photos and proof of purchase are required. To qualify for a return or replacement, damage must be reported at the time of delivery.
