Returns from EGA HOME
Every piece leaves the warehouse inspected and protected for the road. If a piece turns out not to be right for your home, we are happy to help with a return.
Stock pieces. In-stock pieces may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unused and in their original packaging. Begin by writing to info@egahome.com and we will authorize the return and guide the arrangements. Once the piece arrives back and is inspected, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days, less a 20% restocking fee that offsets crating, inspection, and re-warehousing. Shipping charges are not refundable in either direction. Return transit is at the customer's expense, and we prefer to arrange it, or help you arrange it, so your piece travels with a carrier we trust. Freight pieces travel in their original crating or equivalent protection, always with tracking.
Special order pieces. Some of our larger pieces, certain beds, bookcases, and case pieces among them, are brought in specifically for your order. These are noted on the product page and cannot be returned or exchanged. Should one arrive with damage from transit, the remedy below applies in full.
Custom and made to order. All custom and made to order pieces are final sale. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of confirming a custom order, we will do our best to accommodate.
Archive and Last Call. Offered at special pricing and final sale.
If your piece arrives damaged. Please inspect your piece at delivery. If damage occurred in transit, note it on the transit documents at the time of delivery and send photos to info@egahome.com within 24 hours. We will repair the piece at no cost to you, replace it if repair is not possible, or refund it in full if neither can be done. This remedy applies to every piece we sell, special order and custom included, and no restocking fee ever applies to documented transit damage.
Refused deliveries. A delivery refused for any reason other than documented transit damage is handled as a return.
