Order Processing

In-stock items are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days.

Personalised or custom-made products are generally dispatched within 3–10 business days.

During busy periods such as sales periods, Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and other promotional events, processing times may be longer.

Shipping Within Australia

We ship Australia-wide using trusted carriers such as Australia Post & Aramex.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Standard Shipping: 2–28 business days (depending on carrier chosen)

Express Shipping: 1–4 business days (where available)

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on your location and carrier delays.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location, order size, and selected shipping method.

From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions. Any applicable free shipping offers will be displayed on our website (excludes bulky items).

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information (where available).

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.

Delivery Delays

While we aim to meet all estimated delivery times, delays can occasionally occur due to:

Public holidays

Extreme weather

Courier network delays

Peak shopping periods

Remote delivery locations

Unfortunately, these delays are outside our control.

Incorrect Delivery Information

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing your order.

Tinker Gifts cannot accept responsibility for parcels delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Additional shipping charges may apply if a parcel is returned to us and requires re-delivery.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.

Include:

Your order number

Photos of any damaged items or packaging (if applicable)

A brief description of the issue

We'll work with the shipping carrier to investigate and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Authority to Leave

If you choose "Authority to Leave" during delivery, the parcel becomes the customer's responsibility once the carrier confirms delivery. Tinker Gifts is not liable for parcels that are lost or stolen after delivery has been completed.

International Shipping

We currently offer international postage. Shipping timeframes will vary depending on country being shipped to.

We will be happy to offer you a replacement or refund if the product is faulty or received in error. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns for change of mind purchases due to personalisation of products. Please choose carefully and ensure that any product you select is right for you before ordering.

If your order arrived damaged, or if you are unhappy with your experience, please contact us at info@timbertinkers.com as soon as possible and we will help to resolve the situation.

Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable. Any goods returned are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please ensure you package your return to prevent any damage to the goods or boxes. We are not responsible for any goods that are returned to us in error. We recommend you use a postal service that insures you for the value of the goods you are returning.

Timber Tinkers does not take responsibility for the costs involved with returning faulty goods. However, if the goods are deemed faulty after assessment, postage costs will be refunded thereafter. Please include original postal receipt in return parcel.

If the item(s) received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the you of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.

If you are granted a refund we will refund the price paid by you for the goods (exclusive of the initial delivery charge) within twenty (20) days of receiving your original notification that you would like to return the goods.

Refunds will only be made to the original credit card or PayPal account used for purchase.

Timber Tinkers owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error.

There will be no credit given on order price difference, due to price drops or promotions. Promotional codes cannot be applied after an order has been placed.
