Delivery Timing

All orders are prepared and fulfilled directly by the manufacturer. Please allow 1–2 business days after placing your order for FedEx tracking information to be sent to you. Most orders are delivered within 5–7 business days for in-stock items.

Larger items, freight shipments, and certain brands may require longer delivery windows. If your order contains items from multiple brands, they may ship separately and arrive in different time frames.

Free Shipping Threshold

We offer free shipping on all products over $150, excluding orders containing BDI products. Products under $150 are charged a flat $39.99 shipping fee. The shipping fee is non-refundable.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States only. At this time we do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Shipping Methods

Shipping method depends on the size and weight of your order. Small parcel items ship via FedEx. Larger and heavier items ship via freight carrier.

Threshold Delivery (Included on All Freight)

Free freight shipments include Threshold service, which means the delivery team will place your order in the first dry area of your home — typically your garage, front entryway, or covered porch.

Please note: With Threshold service, the delivery team will not unpack, inspect, assemble, or place your item inside your home beyond the first dry area. For full in-home placement and assembly, consider upgrading to White Glove service below.

White Glove Delivery

White Glove is a premium upgrade available on most freight-shipped items at checkout for $199.99 per item. The fee is non-refundable.

Before delivery: Please clear the destination room of any existing furniture. The delivery team will not move or remove items that don't pertain to your order.

Scheduling and Multiple Shipments

FedEx deliveries cannot be scheduled in advance. You'll receive tracking with an estimated delivery date once the order ships.

Freight deliveries are scheduled directly with the carrier. Once the carrier picks up your order from the manufacturer, they'll contact you directly to arrange a delivery date and time window.

If your order contains items from multiple brands, you may receive separate shipments at different times. We do our best to ship your order complete and will reach out if any exceptions arise.

Pre-Orders and Longer Lead Times

If you purchase an item marked as Pre-Order, you'll receive an email with the estimated back-in-stock date. You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it is marked shipped for a full refund.

Some brands have longer inspection and preparation windows that can extend delivery to 2–5 weeks. Brands that typically have longer lead times include:

At American Home Furniture, we stand behind every piece we sell. If something arrives damaged or defective, we'll make it right. If you simply change your mind, we'll work with you within the limits below.

Damaged or Defective Items

Upon delivery, please inspect your order carefully. If you find any damage, defects, or missing parts, notify our customer service team within 30 days of receipt by emailing cs@americanhomefurniture.com with:

•Your order number

•Photos and/or video showing the issue

•A brief description of the problem

Once we receive your claim, we'll review it with the manufacturer and issue a refund or free replacement based on the resolution. Most claims are resolved within 7 business days. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws.

Please note: We're not able to honor damage claims if you're not present at the time of delivery and the damage isn't reported within our 30-day window. Please plan to be present for freight deliveries.

Change of Mind Returns

If you'd like to return an eligible item because you simply changed your mind, ordered the wrong size or color, or weren't fully satisfied with how it looked in your space, please contact us within 7 calendar days of receipt.

Eligibility

•Item must be unused and in original condition

•All original packaging and materials must be included

•Item must not be listed as final sale (see exceptions below)

Change-of-mind returns are subject to a restocking fee and return shipping costs. Our customer service team will share the specific amount with you when we process your request — please reach out before shipping anything back.

Many of our products are skillfully hand-crafted with natural variation in color, size, and finish. Because computer monitors and mobile screens display color differently, actual finishes may appear slightly different in person. This is part of the character of handmade furniture and isn't considered a defect.

Items That Can't Be Returned

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged outside of damage or defect claims:

•Items purchased from our Sale section

•D.V. KAP items (made to order)

•LTL freight shipments that have been delivered or refused

•Items where the original repair service agreement has been completed (see below)

Order Cancellations

You can cancel your order at any time before it is marked Released or Shipped by the manufacturer. Once an order is released or shipped, it cannot be cancelled — including delays caused by freight carriers on LTL shipments.

For pre-order and backorder items, your card is charged at purchase to reserve stock. If you do not request a cancellation before the item is restocked or marked shipped, standard return fees will apply if you choose to return it later.

To request a cancellation, email cs@americanhomefurniture.com with your order number.

Return Packaging Requirements

All approved returns must be shipped back in their original packaging to ensure they arrive safely. If the original packaging is no longer available, you'll need to repackage the item using suitable protective materials.

American Home Furniture reserves the right to refuse a refund if an item is returned without appropriate packaging and arrives damaged as a result.

Refunds and Charges

All refunds are issued on the original form of payment. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed; most refunds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days of issuance, depending on your bank.

You authorize American Home Furniture to apply all charges, balances, taxes, and applicable fees to the payment method provided at checkout. Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes regardless of the amount quoted on the site at the time of purchase.

Repair Service Agreement

When you accept repair services for a damaged or defective item, the item is no longer eligible for return or exchange under our standard return policy.

If you're not satisfied with the repair at the time of service, please contact us immediately to discuss alternative options. Waiting may limit available resolution options and may result in additional charges.

While we work hard to keep product information current, errors may occur — availability, prices, descriptions, and delivery time frames are all subject to change. We reserve the right to restrict orders of any items.
