Shipping processing time

All orders are usually processed within 1-2 business days from Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays and weekends. Orders placed after 3pm Central time Monday-Friday may be processed the next regular business day.

Delays

Dependable Expendables strives to process and ship all orders in a timely manner. However, factors that can impact processing and shipping times may include but not be limited to: inclement weather, carrier delays, high volume of orders and vendor delays. When possible, Dependable Expendables will contact the customer via email to notify of any known delays within 24 hours. International orders may experience delays related to customs, carriers, and/or operational delays outside of Dependable Expendables’ control.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your orders will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Dependable Expendables offers different types of shipping rates to best fit the needs of our customers. Total shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Below is an example of shipping delivery time once the order is accepted by the chosen carrier and cost. Delivery time and cost are dependent on destination, size, weight and volume of the package. All estimated delivery times are not a guaranteed delivery time unless you choose a guaranteed delivery method offered by one of the carriers.

Shipping Insurance

Not all shipping options include insurance or enough insurance to cover the cost of your entire order. Dependable Expendables offers shipping insurance during checkout through our partner Route as an option. All insurance claims are handled by Route. If you purchased insurance through Route and need to file a claim for your lost/damaged/stolen order you can start your claim here .

Free Shipping

For certain orders totaling $100 (excluding tax and shipping) of eligible products, Dependable Expendables will ship the order at no cost to the customer. Items which do not fit within our standard packaging dimensions (11 ¾” x 8 ¼” x 6”) and weighing 5lb (2.27kg) or over may not be eligible. Dependable Expendables will try to indicate if an item we sell is not eligible for free shipping. Free shipping applies to the 48 contiguous states (and Washington DC). International orders are excluded.

Local Delivery

Local Delivery is possible upon request and subject to delivery fees. Exceptions to the delivery area are made on a case by case basis and is at the sole discretion of Dependable Expendables.

Local Pickup

In stock items and ship direct to store orders qualify for local pickup. Customers are notified via e-mail when retail orders and/or equipment rental are ready for pick up and are typically available between 9AM - 5PM Monday - Friday inside Camera Ready Studios - 2155 Chenault Drive #509, Carrollton, TX 75006

Shipment to P.O. Boxes

If you need an order to be shipped to a P.O. Box, please ensure your location has the ability to accept packages from our selected carriers.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

Once an order is fulfilled, a shipment confirmation and tracking number will be sent to the email address provided during the checkout process.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Dependable Expendables is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. Where applicable, all fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc).

Damage/Lost/Stolen Orders

Dependable Expendables is not liable for any item(s)/order(s) damaged, lost or stolen during the shipping process. If your order is damaged, lost or stolen, please contact the shipment carrier or sales@dependableexpendables.com to file a claim. Please save and document all packaging material and damage items before filing a claim (see below).

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Dependable Expendables is committed to ensuring your satisfaction on every purchase. We have a 14 day return from the date of of receiving your purchase on most items that meet the conditions outlined in this Cancellation/Refund Policy. You may choose to ship back item(s) at your expense or Dependable Expendables can send a prepaid return shipping label and will deduct the total shipping cost from the total refund amount. Orders already in transit cannot be cancelled.

Like-new Condition

Items need to be returned in a like-new condition. Items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched or missing major contents may be denied a return or allowed a return with a nonrefundable deduction fee based on item condition.

Out of concern for the health and safety of our customers, certain items are not returnable such as hats, acoustical ear tubes and ear molds (see Exceptions below).

Defective/Damaged/Wrong item

If you receive a damaged, defective or wrong item, please contact Dependable Expendables within the return. Please have high resolution photos of the error or damage ready to submit to sales@dependableexpendables.com. If you would rather return the item, we will send a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

Product Accessories/Original Packaging

Please return all items with all accessories and in its original packaging. Products not in full compliance may be denied a return or accepted with a nonrefundable deduction fee based on replacement cost for missing parts.

Final Sales, Special Order and Nonreturnable Items

All Final Sale and Special Order and Non Returnable Items (list below) merchandise cannot be returned.

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. It is encouraged that all orders be insured by Route Protection .

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Expendables like batteries, recording media, under clothing microphone mounts (hush lavs, stickies, bra mounts), EVA foam, wireless accessories, canned air, mic flags, headphones & ear buds, hats, camera & sound reports, surveillance acoustical ear tubes, ear molds, alcohol swabs, medical/adhesive tapes, moleskin, by the yard fabrics, gel & diffusion rolls, breakaway props, money props, and battery chargers are not eligible for return.

Special order items (items that Dependable Expendables does not typically carry in stock) are also non-returnable.

Dependable Expendables is not responsible for packages arriving late due to carrier issues or weather delays.

Money Prop Purchase / Return Policy

If Dependable Expendables makes an error in Money Prop product fulfillment, it is incumbent upon the Customer/Purchaser to report the issue with a written explanation of the error and provide proof with photos for review and approval submitted to sales@dependableexpendables.com.

There is a 20% restocking fee for Money Prop orders that are cancelled. Orders already in transit cannot be cancelled.

If a Customer is not satisfied with their Money Prop order; items must be returned within 3 days for store credit only. No refunds are provided. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. All shipping fees are non-refundable.

Dependable Expendables is not liable for lost or damaged return packages containing Money Props.

Dependable Expendables is not responsible for lost or stolen packages and will not issue refunds for Money Prop orders that are confirmed delivered by the carrier tracking. Please consider shipping protection insurance when purchasing or returning Money Props. All loss claims are the responsibility of the shipping carrier, not Dependable Expendables.

Sale Items & Gift Card Returns

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at sales@dependableexpendables.com.

Gifts

Depending on how the item was purchased at the time of checkout (was the order marked as a gift), if you return an item and the return is accepted, you will either receive a gift credit for price of the item(s) at the time of the original order directly from Dependable Expendables or the original purchaser will receive a refund/credit.

Restocking Fee

Special order items may incur a 20% restocking fee where allowable by law. The restocking fee will be taxed in certain states.
