We Actively Ship Across Canada & The United States

At Shop Deborah L Kerbel, we believe in creating a stress-free shopping experience for our customers. That's why we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders across North America with our standard shipping option (territories and other remote regions/locations are excluded).

**Please note that any potential duty/import charges are not included for US Residents, and responsible for the purchaser to pay for - for products going to the US from Canada. D uty/import charges do NOT apply to Canadian Residents.

If the product is already in one of our US warehouses (as we have a few warehouses located in the US) and you are a US Resident, duty/import charges do not apply as the product is not crossing the Canadian border.

Shipping Information

We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or military APOs.

COURIER SHIPPING:

AVAILABLE ACROSS CANADA & US

All our products are shipped or couriered via our trusted carriers. Orders are typically shipped and delivered Monday through Friday, between 8am and 5pm, however on special request we might be able to accommodate other times as well.

DELIVERY:

Option 1 Default at Checkout: Regular Delivery

•This includes delivery of items into main floor of condo/building main lobby area if courier and curb side if it is delivered by freight

•Set-up and packaging removal is not included

•If to a house it is curb side only (the drivers will not enter the home unless previously arranged and approved)

Option 2: White-Glove Delivery (Call for Pricing)

This includes the following:

•Delivery of items into the room (s) of choice

•Complete set-up of furniture

•Packaging removal and disposal (only if you are certain you do not want to return the item as all returns must be in original packaging)

Once your order is ready for delivery, we will contact you regarding an estimated delivery date & timeframe and/or a tracking number will be forwarded to the email provided in your order.

PRIOR TO DELIVERY

Prior to placing an order with us, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the measurement of any entryways and/or rooms to ensure that the furniture will fit. All items will still be subject to Deborah L Kerbel Inc. return policy if the item(s) do not fit. If items need to be scheduled for re-delivery, a delivery fee will be charged.

UPON DELIVERY

Upon delivery, there will be no alterations to any doors, trims, moldings or light fixtures to accommodate passage of the products. Should the merchandise not fit through the passage we refer you and will be guided by our return policy.

When your order arrives, please inspect the product carefully. We’ll be glad to resolve any issues as soon as possible. However, you do have up to 48 hours after delivery to let us know of any concerns.

If by chance the item(s) arrive damaged, it is a requirement for you to take pictures of the item that has arrived in the box AND take pictures of the outside and inside packaging of the box (very important to the return process and approval of the return ) as well showing the damages of the item. Forward these pictures to deborah@deborahLkerbel.com, so that we can ensure you get a replacement sent.

DELIVERY PROCEDURES

Many of the items will be delivered ready-to-assemble. Delivery personnel will not inspect, unpack or assemble products nor remove debris. Old items will not be moved or disposed of. The delivery personnel will deliver to the lobby of an apartment building or to the front door of a house. The customer must allow and ensure safe access to the site for the delivery personnel and transportation vehicle (including an appropriate parking area). All obstacles and walkways must be cleared before delivery. The responsibility is incumbent on the customer to measure all doorways, hallways and stairwells.

MODIFYING/RESCHEDULING/CANCELLING YOUR DELIVERY

Should you be unavailable for the scheduled delivery, another delivery fee may be charged for rescheduling or cancelling the order within three (3) business days of the scheduled shipping date and/or while the merchandise is in transit.

* Guidelines/Exceptions:

Merchandise must be undamaged, with original tags & labels, in the original packaging, and unassembled (was never assembled).

•You may remove the contents of the item out of the packaging as long as they are not assembled and are placed back into the original packaging for return.

Bedding/Linens - For hygienic reasons, we cannot accept returns on these items. Due to the intimate nature of bedding, and in accordance with health and hygiene standards, certain items are considered final sale.

For the safety and protection of all our clients, bedding items—including sheets, duvets, pillows, mattress pads, protectors, and similar soft goods—cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been opened, used, or removed from their original packaging. Because these items come into direct contact with the body, we are unable to restock or resell them once handled, and this policy ensures every client receives products that meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

All Customized/Special Ordered Items/Made to Order Items that are created or ordered just for you are final sale at time of purchase.

All returns and refunds are subject to a 25% restocking/cancellation fee from time of order (when order is placed), as we begin the process of fulfilling your order once it is placed, whether it is in stock or not. This will be deducted from the refund/exchange/store credit - whichever is applicable to your order.

Promotional items (specifically from our promotions page on our website) are final sale at time of purchase.

Shipping Back to Us?

If you wish to exchange or return an item, please let us know within 5 days of receiving your order. Once we have reviewed and approved your request, you will be sent an and email notification. A return shipping label to be attached to the original secure packaging.

All returns must available for pickup within seven (7) days of delivery to receive a store credit or refund if applicable.

The package will be picked up from your location by our own delivery team.

Unless the merchandise is defective/damaged, the return shipping costs is at the customer’s expense.

Please allow up to 10 business days for us after the item(s) have been received for us to process your return.

Damages

We ask that our customers inspect their order prior to use/assembly. In the off-chance that you receive a damaged item, we require notice within 48 hours of delivery. Once we're notified, we will replace the affected part(s) or send a complete replacement, if necessary.

It is a requirement for you to take pictures of the item(s) that has arrived in the box prior to opening AND take pictures of the outside and inside packaging of the box (very important to the return process and approval of the return) as well showing the damages of the item and the exterior packaging.

Do not sign any freight carriers paperwork if you have not physically inspected each item to ensure it is not damaged. If you are unable to sign the paperwork, it is imperative that you make a note on the paperwork that the items were not inspected for damage and therefore, you cannot confirm if they were damaged and take complete pictures of the boxes shipped from all angles. Forward these pictures to deborah@deborahLkerbel.com, so that we can ensure you get a replacement sent and/or have damaged item repaired.

We will also ask for the defective item to be put back in its original box and we will send a label for it to be shipped back to us in order to process a replacement.

Understanding the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) - Back Ordered Item(s) That Are Not IN-STOCK:

Estimated Time of Arrival is a date at which your merchandise is expected to arrive by a ship , vehicle , aircraft , or cargo , to Toronto or our port.

Why do ETA’s (estimated times of arrival) change? We understand the it is frustrating to be provided a time line on a back ordered product and have that time line change. Trust us, it is the last thing we want to happen as well.

We do our very best to ensure that our manufactures and suppliers are on track and are providing an accurate time schedule so that unavoidable delays are kept to a minimum.

When we are forced to move an ETA, and risk disappointing our customers, it is never something we take lightly.

Note: If your item has not shipped from our warehouse to you and it’s been more than 90 business days beyond the expected and/or communicated ETA (and it is not considered a final sale item, customized or special order), you can receive a refund, store credit or an exchange.

If you approved a new ETA due to unforeseen delays and it’s been more than 90 days since the new ETA you approved (and it is not considered a final sale item, customized or special order), you can receive a refund, store credit or an exchange.

**Once the item(s) have shipped, we are unable to cancel the order mid shipment. Your refund/exchange/store credit request would then have to go through the criteria mentioned above once you receive the item(s).
