•We do not use Media Mail. We want you to actually get your music. :)

•You can upgrade any order to FedEx/UPS 2-Day Air for just a few extra dollars!

Please note: FedEx/UPS can not deliver to post office boxes. We reserve the right to ship using Priority Mail if you only supply a post office box.

Shipping Questions

Do you ship internationally?

Yes!

We ship to any country that we legally can. We use DHL with most packages being delivered in 5 business days. The exact rates are computed at checkout. We no longer use mail/USPS because of lost packages.

Taxes and duties are calculated and collected at checkout so the package will be delivered to you without delay.

Why do you not offer a budget shipping option?

We used to offer Media Mail, but found that it was unreliable. While we strive to make delivery as quick and affordable as possible, we've found that the problems "budget" rates create greatly exceed the money saved.

What happens if the order is shipped to the wrong address?

If we made a mistake, return shipping and/or a new, reshipment is on us! However, if the address information that came in with your order details had a typo or was incorrect altogether, extra shipping fees may apply for your return shipment and/or a new, reshipment of the order.

What about overnight shipping?

Yes, but please call us at 215-592-1681 or email us at hello@ficksmusic.com if you need items overnight. We can do it, but want to make sure there aren't any surprises with the order, so we don't allow online checkout for overnight.

Can I pick up my order?

Absolutely! Just choose "pick up" as your shipping option during checkout. Once the order is ready, we'll send you an email to let you know! We're located at 1901 S 9th St ( The Bok Building ) in South Philadelphia.

We try our best to make sure you are 100% happy with everything you get from us; if you're not, we want to make it right. We know that sometimes people buy the wrong item -- it can be confusing! We get it. We've done it. We'll work with you to fix the problem.

What Can I Return?

For most items, we allow returns on any new, unused item indefinitely! For instruments, we have to limit the return window to 30 days and they must be returned in new condition.

To be clear, used rosin, strings, reeds, and mouthpieces may not be used if you want to return them.

If you purchased a digital product, in general, once a file has been delivered it cannot be refunded. If you feel that there are extenuating circumstances, please contact us.

Who Pays the Return Shipping Cost?

•If it was our mistake (wrong item, bad information on website, etc.) or the product arrived damaged, return shipping is on us.

•If you've just changed your mind, we simply ask that you pay the return shipping.

Damaged Item(s)

If you receive a damaged item, please take a clear picture of the damage on the item and the packaging. Then, please include the pictures as attachments in an email to us at hello@ficksmusic.com . Upon reception & review of your email, we will get back to you with next steps.

Refunds

There are certain situations where no refund or only partial refunds are granted:

•Items with obvious signs of use

•Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

•An incorrect shipping address was provided. Please also note that an incorrect address may lead to extra fees to cover return shipping and/or a new, reshipment of the order.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of your refund.

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

•First, check your bank account again.

•Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

•Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
