Delivery times and order policy

HANDLING TIMEHandling time is the number of business days between when you make your payment for an item and when your package is scanned by the shipping carrier. Please keep in mind all orders must go through our Quality Control process, ensuring (no faulty cap construction, loose fibres, proper stitching) which takes roughly between 4-7 business days, reiterated in your confirmation email once you purchase a piece. The quality of your piece is our utmost priority.

FREE GIFT WITH PURCHASE

Some orders may include a free gift with purchase, subject to availability. If the designated free gift is out of stock at the time your order is shipped, we will replace it with either an alternative gift or a gift card of equivalent value.

PRE-ORDER POLICY

Pre-orders are purchased when an item is currently out of stock but the client would still like to secure an order as soon as it arrives back in stock. Pre-orders require full payment in advance. A colour variant change is permitted within the waiting period of the item to arrive in stock. Clients are able to cancel and receive a refund for their pre-order by contacting support with their order number as long as the pre-order has not been shipped. Clients are informed of the duration the pre-order will take to arrive upon ordering. Each piece varies in restocking dates.

BACKORDERPlease note that due to a large inventory, not all item(s) are available at the time of order placement and do need to come from our international suppliers. Some item(s) may also be placed on backorder and you will be notified of this.

It usually takes between 7 to 10 business days for standard delivery not including handling time.

USA DOMESTIC EXPEDITED:

$24.95 Expedited Via USPS / UPS / FedEx

(Any order over $250 requires a signature upon release)

Expedited deliveries take between 3-6 business days not including handling time.

INTERNATIONAL IMPORT/CUSTOM FEES:

If you are purchasing an international order you may experience import/customs fees on your order. Please keep in mind Chiquel has no control over individual country customs fees.

The amount of actual Import Fees charged by Customs authorities will vary depending on multiple factors. These include Customs regulations in the given destination, the product category and price.

RETURN TO SENDERFor shipments delivered to a wrong address due to bad address information provided by the customer is not refundable. There will be a flat fee of $20 charged for time and postage. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable in the event of a return of any kind. Items will be reshipped at the customers expense or the order will automatically be treated as a return under our return policy.

CANCELLATION or CHANGES

Cancellations are only available within 24 hours of order placement.

NO Cancellations or changes are accepted after this time period.

Why we are unable to accept a cancellation, or changes after the 24 hour period?

Due to the large inventory of colours and styles, all orders are put through a series of quality control processes, once these processes have begun, it is very difficult to pull from the quality control team individually before being picked up by the mail courier.

QUALITY CONTROL

All items are photographed and inspected by our quality control department before the item(s) are sent to insure the item is in perfect condition.

MANUFACTURING FAULTWe aim to provide the highest quality, but from time to time, something may go wrong. In accordance with State Law, we reserve the right to repair a minor fault or minor problem.

In accordance with State Law, consumers must give the supplier the chance to fix the problem. It is at the discretion of Chiquel Inc. to: 1. Provide a replacement that is identical or of similar value 2. Repair the product within a reasonable time 3. Give a refund. In the case of a genuine manufacturing fault, if we are unable to provide a replacement of the identical item/colour, only then will a refund of all costs incurred be issued back to your original method of payment. Items must be returned in the same original condition they were received in to be eligible for review of manufacturing defects. Products that have been altered, worn, or used may not qualify for assessment or remedy. The consumer’s rights to a remedy apply to the replacement product in the same way as the original product. Please note a manufacturing fault does not include general wear and tear.

SIZING

Please note that sizing may change from each style, even if the item(s) are shown in the same cap size in the description, this can be due to various factors of the material it is in made in. Please take our sizing as a guide only.

HAIR COLOURS & STYLE

Please be aware that due to different screen resolutions colours may vary. This image is intended as a guide only.

Colour shows up slightly different based on hair fiber or style. Each colour swatch or photo shown can vary from screen to screen as well as production batch as components of the wigs are handmade. Human hair wigs do require styling once received to achieve desired looks.

BOX AND PACKAGINGPlease note that some item(s) will be shipped in a personalised Chiquel packaging, if requested original box can be supplied.

All the items we sell are in new and unworn condition. Therefore, within 45 calendar days on receipt of delivery, you have two options in place for Regular Priced Items:

Receive a Store Credit. Credits do not expire and you may apply it towards future purchases at any time. We will issue you a credit as soon as we receive the piece in the same condition it was sent out in. As an added incentive we will give you a credit of your original purchase value. Please note if a credit is given for a return, the next purchase using that store credit is considered final sale.

Refund to original payment method. Every item returned is carefully received, examined, and shipped back to our vendors with significant time and costs involved. No Restocking Fees!

Once the item is received in our facility, allow up to five business days for an email confirmation of the refund status or credit process. We do not provide return labels or prepaid postage for returns.

If you would like to return your piece that you purchased during a Best Offer, Sale or Promotion, you may choose the following option within 45 days on receipt of delivery:

Equal Purchase Value in Store Credit - We will provide you with a credit of your original purchase value. Your credit can be used for future orders at your discretion. Please note the next purchase using that store credit is considered final sale.

We ONLY provide a CREDIT on Best Offer, Promotional Sales and Clearance items.

We do NOT provide refunds On:

Please choose carefully as any orders using majority of purchase value or full value in store credit /gift card will be classified as a final sale (no returns).

Products Eligible for Return Must Be:

•Must be returned by customer & received by Chiquel within 30 calendar days of original receipt of delivery to customer

•Wigs, Hair Additions (Toppers) in original factory condition

•Unworn, no brushing and scent free of tobacco smoke, food odors, etc.

•Unaltered (NO change in Factory Parting)

•Tags attached (NOT Removed and Reattached)

•In its original box, wrapping, net, etc.

Products NOT Eligible for Return:

Care and Accessory Products, Liquids, Wig Stands, etc.

•Items exceeding 30 calendar days of the return window on original receipt of delivery

Chiquel Reward Point Redemption:

Any order purchased using Chiquel Rewards is only eligible to return for store credit.

Chiquel does not provide return labels, customers are responsible for returning each package in the same state as they were shipped in. Any refusal of package that requires a fee will be the responsibility of the customer.

Promotion/sale items cannot be in conjunction/combined with any other specials/discounts given. (I.E. Free Gift)

Promotional items (Free Gift) of a product being returned, must also be sent back; otherwise retail value will be charged.

Please Note: We take internal quality controls very seriously and inspect every wig that is returned. Once we receive your return, please allow up to five business days to process the return. An exchange/credit will not be issued if any of the above is observed. From time to time, Chiquel may refuse a return request if we find evidence of fraud, return abuse, or other manipulative behavior that entitles Chiquel to a corresponding counterclaim.
