We understand that no one likes high shipping fees so we are constantly working with our partners to lower the cost of shipping. We try our best to condense orders into as few packages as possible to lower shipping costs but sometimes this is unavoidable. There is an additional charge for any order that ships in multiple boxes.

Tracking & Insurance

We automatically add tracking and insurance to all packages when available. The cost of these services is already factored into the shipping price displayed to you during checkout. If you choose to have your package delivered with a service that does not support tracking and insurance then we are not responsible if it gets lost or damaged during transit.

Free Standard Shipping

If a product page indicates free shipping, then that product will receive free standard shipping (3-5 business days) within the Continental US. If you order multiple items and we can fit them into a single box, and the entire package weighs no more than 10 lbs, that entire order will ship for free. There will be an additional shipping charge for orders that require multiple boxes. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. Free Standard Shipping on Orders of $100

Orders of $100 or more will receive free standard shipping (3-5 business days) within the Continental US. Your order must ship in a single box and have a dimensional weight of no greater 10 lbs. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. See individual item for details.

$17.99 Standard Shipping for Fishing Rods & Combos

Purchase $100 worth of fishing rods and/or combos and the shipping rate is $17.99 for the first rod/combo and $2.99 each additional rod/combo within the Continental US. We can only fit up to five rod/combos into a single box. If you order a 6th rod/combo then you will be charged another $17.99 for the second package and an additional $2.99 for each additional rod/combo. There will be no additional shipping charges if you add items to the order that are not rods, combos, or other large exceptions. If you order a rod/combo and we can fit the rest of your order into the same box, then you will not be charged an additional shipping fee.

Domestic Shipping (Continental US)

We offer several shipping options within the Continental US. UPS Ground, UPS 3-Day, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air, USPS Express, USPS Priority, USPS Flat Rate Box USPS, First Class Mail.

Priority Mail

For small items we offer Priority Mail shipping. This is a $6 flat rate charge and applies to small products that won't fit into a First Class Mail envelope but weigh less than one lb. Items that fit into this shipping category are t-shirts, lures, jigs, etc.

First Class Mail

While we recommend a shipping option that includes tracking and insurance, we will ship First Class Mail if the item is very small. If you wish to have an item shipped via First Class Mail and don't see the option on the site, please contact us.

Alaska, Hawaii & US Territories

To save you money, we will ship using USPS Flat Rate Boxes. If you place an order and the items in your order do not fit into a Flat Rate Box, we will contact you to change the shipping method. For orders where USPS Flat Rate Boxes don't apply you will have the option of standard shipping and faster services using USPS. All orders will include tracking and insurance.

At J&H, we take pride in making sure that you are satisfied with the gear you purchase from us. We also understand that sometimes you buy something that just isn't right for your fishing situation so we make exchanges and returns easy!

Exchanges

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to exchange an item for a different one. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. Exceptions can be made for exchanges past 30 days but they are on a case by case basis. In these instances, J&H retains the right to deny your exchange request.

Items purchased in the physical store can only be exchanged at the physical store.

Cash Returns

We do not do cash refunds! All refunds must be put on a credit card.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - In-Store

You have 5 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund. An item returned from 6 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - Online

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund on a purchase made with a credit card or debit card online. All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase!

Restocking Fee

Returns for non-defective merchandise are subject to a 20% restocking fee. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and processing. Items must be returned in new, unused condition with original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Defective or incorrect items are exempt from the restocking fee. J&H retains the right to deny your refund request.

Final Sale and Used Merchandise

All sales of final sale items and used merchandise are not eligible for exchanges or returns. This includes items that were sold in used condition and items that were sold in new condition that you have used.

Broken Merchandise

J&H does not accept exchanges or returns on broken merchandise. If the merchandise has a factory warranty, please visit our Warranty Center for information.
