Delivery - When you want it!

We believe that whenever you order from Sam Turner & Sons the process should be hassle-free from start to finish. We partner with some the UK's leading couriers to offer our customers the best range of delivery options possible.Our customer services team will keep you informed every step of the way. If there are any problems with your order or your delivery is delayed for any reason a member of our team will contact you straight away.

Please note that we are unable to despatch orders on weekends or Bank Holidays. Express Delivery orders taken after 1pm on Fridays will be despatched the following working day.

Most orders require a signature upon delivery. If you know you won't be at home, why not arrange delivery to your workplace or a friends address?

Check the packaging for damage and make a note of this when signing. Please only sign as received in good condition if that is actually the case. If the goods have been damaged in transit, please refuse delivery and contact us on 01609 772 422

If you're not home when the courier arrives. After a failed attempt, the order will go to a local pick-up store for you to collect.

Please Note: If you have ordered for Christmas, please be aware that your goods might arrive in the original packaging and visible.

Liquids

Please note that liquid items cannot be delivered to the following postcodes: BT, KW, IV, PA, PH, AB.For liquids over 1 Litre there is a £2.50 surcharge for the following postcodes: DD, KY, EH, TD, ML, DG, KA, FK, G Certain liquids of 10L or over can not be delivered to the Highlands and Islands.

Pallet Deliveries

Larger items and some bulk orders may be delivered on a pallet. This will arrive by truck, which may be unable to reach remote locations or pass through narrow roads. Pallet deliveries will be to the nearest hard-standing land or roadside, as pallet trucks cannot be used on gravel driveways. Please let us know if this may apply to you, and we will do our best to facilitate your delivery. A pallet delivery icon will be shown on most items that require a pallet delivery. Unfortunately, time slots are not available for pallet delivery. We may be able to provide an estimated time on the delivery day if requested, but this is not guaranteed. Pallet delivery is not available to the following postcodes: "BT", "KW", "IV", "PA", "PH", "AB", "DD", "KY", "EH", "TD", "KA", "FK", "HS", or "ZE".

UK - Delivery costs

Standard Delivery

For In Stock items our standard delivery service is typically within 3 to 5 working days but over 60% actually arrive the next day. Live parcel tracking is available on most orders.

Northern Ireland Unfortunately we are currently unable to ship orders to Northern Ireland. We hope to resume this service soon.

Express Delivery

Express delivery is available on most orders and your order will arrive the next working day. (Working Days are Monday to Friday. UK Mainland Only)

1 Hour Window - Most Express Delivery orders will be given a 1 hour delivery window sent to you by text or email so you don't have to wait in all day.

Orders must be placed before 3pm to arrive the next working day*. If you are ordering for the weekend please place your order before 3pm on Thursday. Orders placed after 3pm on Thursdays will arrive the following Monday. Live tracking information is available on all Express Delivery orders. All orders placed on a weekend will be processed and despatched the following Monday.

Saturday Delivery

If you need your order to arrive on a Saturday please order before 3pm on Friday and choose Saturday delivery from the checkout. If Saturday delivery option is not available at the checkout unfortunately either your delivery address or the items you are ordering are unavailable for Saturday delivery.

Sammie's Local Delivery

Customers in our local delivery areas can have their orders delivered on one of our local delivery vehicles. There is a charge of £6.98 for all orders that need to be delivered on our own wagons. Local delivery orders will be delivered within 6 working days but most will arrive much sooner. Click here to see if your postcode is within our Local Delivery area. Bulk deliveries will be left on the closest hard standing.

Europe - We aren't currently shipping outside of UK

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for whatever reason, you may return it to us within 30 days of delivery for a refund. When inspecting or trying on goods that may be returned, please take care. Once goods are used or soiled, they cannot be considered for exchange or credit. If goods have been tampered with or deliberately modified, they also cannot be considered for exchange or credit. When returning any item, please quote your original order number in the return. Please note that you will be responsible for the delivery cost of returning any item to us. This includes pallet-delivery items, which can incur a charge from £50 to £70 for us to collect. Exchanges will be generated and dispatched to the same UK delivery address with no additional postage charge. Your statutory rights are not affected. You can contact us in writing, via email or by telephone.

Animal Medicines

Regrettably, due to our status as an authorised distributor of veterinary medicines, under the regulation of both The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and Veterinary Medicine Directorate (VMD), we are unable to accept returns of medications, as these products cannot be resold. This regulatory measure is in place to guarantee the well-being of your animals as returned medicines may have been compromised by improper storage or tampering. Nevertheless, we are pleased to offer a safe disposal service for any unused medication.

Free Gift with Purchase returns

If your order includes a free gift and you wish to return the item that came with the free gift, we kindly request that your free gift is also returned to us. If the returned item is received without the gift item the current retail price of that item will be deducted from your refund.

Damages and Faults

Please check goods before signing for them and record on the carriers manifest if there is any damage. Please note failure to record any damage at the time of signing for it will result in subsequent claims for damaged goods being refused. Once signed this is accepted as Proof of Delivery, confirming all goods have arrived safely with no damages. Claims of damage or pilferage must be notified in writing both in the couriers manifest and to the company within 3 days of delivery. Claims cannot be accepted outside these time limits. Packaging must be retained for investigation. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 7 days of receipt of dispatch confirmation. Our policy is that faulty goods under a 1-year warranty must be returned to our store for an evaluation with a valid proof of purchase, once confirmed faulty the postage incurred within the UK will be reimbursed at Standard Royal Mail Rates with a repair, exchange or a refund of the goods. The cost of returning non-faulty goods is not covered under warranty and must be met by yourself. This is also the case for pallet items, which can incur a charge from £50 to £70 for us to collect. We will, of course, send out any repaired/replaced goods free of any carriage charge. If faulty footwear is being returned, please ensure that they have been cleaned of excess mud first - for Health & Safety reasons we are unable to process dirty products
