•We currently only deliver to the United States (EXCLUDING Alaska and Hawaii) and we do not ship to international addresses at this time (or to Puerto Rico).

•We also do not ship to APO or FPO addresses at this time.

Tracking your Order We will send you an email confirmation once your order ships. This email will include order number, items shipped, shipping address, etc.

This email confirmation will also include your tracking information that you can use on the carrier’s website to track your order. You can also check your order by logging into your account at Alpscommerce.com and checking your order status under "Order Details". Please note that most standard shipping carriers will sometimes leave your package with a neighbor, on a porch, or in a garage if you are not at home. If your tracking information shows your package as delivered, but you do not have it yet, please be sure to check with your neighbors to see if it was delivered to them.

Orders with Multiple ProductsPlease note that we make our best effort to ship orders in their completeness in the same package. However, sometimes it is necessary for us to ship them in multiple packages. When this is done, you will receive a separate email for each shipment as it leaves our warehouse.

HAZMAT CHARGES What are the current charges? The current hazmat charges on FedEx Ground shipments are $25 (as of 2-10) per box. Air shipments are very limited for hazardous materials and when applicable are $35 per box. Hazmat charges are normally updated in February of each year. What are hazardous materials? Hazardous Materials are items that have been deemed hazardous in shipping situations. These materials are classified according to the CFR 49 statutes published by the Department of Transportation in Washington D.C. For more information please visit the DOT website. How does this affect me? If you order an item that is classified as hazardous material you may receive an assessorial charge from the company handling the freight or packages. How do I know what items are considered hazardous material? Our printed catalog shows a hazardous material symbol by any item considered hazardous. Our website also shows the same information with links to this page. Who receives the extra charge? The shipping company that imposes the charge receives the money. We are not acts as the shipper and does not receive any of this charge. Does Alpscommerce add any additional handling charges to hazmat shipments? The shipping company that imposes the charge receives the money. Alpscommerce acts as the shipper and does not receive any of this charge. Alpscommerce does incur significant charges to remain eligible to handle and ship your hazardous materials. Annual expenses such as: Annual contract with FedEx / UPS to remain in compliance with their regulations. Annual subscription to Federal database showing proper shipping name information. Special boxes, labels and other packaging materials to meet CFR 49 and FedEx guidelines. Annual training to ensure all employees are certified to handle and ship hazmat materials. Etc. Alpscommerce considers these expenses to be part of doing business and does not add any of these costs to your hazmat charge, the hazmat charge surcharge you pay is exclusively paid to the company handling your freight! Can I ship all of my hazmat items in one box? In certain situations we can combine products. We are limited to 4 gallons cans per box or a single 5 gallon pail and they must all have the same Proper Shipping Name according to CFR 49 regulations. Alpscommerce always consolidates products and does everything possible to limit the costs of shipping hazardous materials. What can I do to limit these costs? Making larger orders that can be shipped by truck Line will help reduce costs. Alpscommerce has negotiated hazardous material exemptions from multiple freight lines. You can also order multiples when shipping via FedEx/ UPS. Remember that the hazmat charge is per box, not per item. If you order 1 gallon of a hazmat material you will pay the full charge. If you order up to 4 gallons, or a 5 gallon pail of the material you will still only pay the single box charge. Please remember that all material must be of the same classification. Please contact us if you have questions regarding specific classifications. Also many items are exempt from a hazmat charge if they are packaged in quarts or smaller packages. Even though you may pay more for 4 quarts of material the delivered cost to you, including freight, may be less because of the hazmat charge.

If, for any reason, you are discontent with your purchase, Alps, will gladly accept returns on most brands within 14 days of receiving your item(s). It is important to note that shipping and handling costs will be deducted from your total refund, and any order offered with special shipping charges is subject to a deduction of our actual outbound shipping costs.

You will receive a refund for the merchandise total, in the form of your original payment method. If the returns department receives the item damaged or materially different than how the item(s) was originally shipped a 50% restocking fee will be applied. Please note, custom or special request orders are not be returnable. Additionally, certain products cannot be returned because neither we, nor our suppliers, can accept the item as a return. This will be clearly marked on the product's sale page.

Procedure for Returning an Item or Order:

Contact our Customer Service Department with your order number at and indicate to the agent the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.

We will then:

•Initiate the return process

•send you a confirmation email that your return request has initiated

•send a follow up email in approximately 3 business days with

•an Return Authorization (RA) Number

•return address

•return instructions

•all other relevant information needed to complete your return.

Once you receive the RA email with Return Instructions:

•Wrap the item(s) carefully in its original condition and packaging, as all return products MUST be undamaged and in their original packaging.

•To properly assist you during the return process, please save the tracking info provided to you by your shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and email that information to us. This will better assist us in tracking any issues that might occur during transit.

Refunds: The specified refund will be applied to your account once the return is processed in one of our warehouses. Please note, that the return process involves several stages, so please be patient in awaiting your refund. Generally following the date of arrival at our warehouse, this process is approximately 7 to 10 business days to receive the return, inspect, re-stock, issue credit to the original form of payment, and for credit/debit card payments - time for your banking institution to post the refund to your account (in certain instances additional stages are required). If Your Order Arrives Damaged:

In the unfortunate instance that your product arrives damaged, contact our Customer Service Department within 3 business days of receipt of the item for replacement parts or a full replacement. Damaged orders receive replacement parts or full replacements with no additional cost to our customers . Requests for full or partial credits are not available. In most cases, we may require you to take digital images (photos) of damages. Please keep the damaged items along with original packaging as we may want it back to send the replacement. Please note that it is not recommended to refuse an order that has been shipped to you via UPS or FedEx due to extensive packaging damage. Often the packaging can take the brunt of the damage, and the product inside could still be in proper condition. When signing for the package, please indicate if your item is damaged by writing "Package Damaged" on any acceptance forms while the delivery drivers are still at your home.

Orders returned without delivery:

If an order is returned as undeliverable due to incorrect shipping address or non-availability of recipient to accept delivery (in cases where we require signature confirmation) or due to refusal to accept shipment, it shall be considered as a return and our standard Return Policy is applicable on such orders.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your order and obtain a refund at any time BEFORE we process the order to our warehouse. However, we do process orders very quickly and after it is processed unfortunately there is no way to cancel it. In order to change an order after you have placed it, you must contact our customer service team via phone at in order to determine if your order has entered the shipping process.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect or erroneous price. Alps shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card or PayPal account has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Alps shall issue a credit to your account on file in the amount of the incorrect price within 2 – 3 business days. Please allow an additional 48 to 72 hours for the credit to post to your account.
