Our Couriers

We have over 24 years of postal dispatch experience, and we select the best courier service for your given item size and location. The majority of our orders go via Royal Mail, Parcel Force and DPD

Scottish Highlands & Islands

Due to our location relative to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, we cannot offer a next-day service.

Items being sent to the following postcodes will carry a minimum of 2 days lead time.

Scottish Highlands: FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40 (excluding PA38), PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50

Delivery Cut-off Times

Orders must be placed before 3:30 pm for same-day dispatch.

Any orders placed after this time are not guaranteed to be shipped the same day and are more likely to be shipped the next working day.

*Orders placed on a Friday using the Saturday delivery service must be placed before 2 pm to guarantee a next-day Saturday delivery.

Working Days / Open Hours

We operate during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and are closed during the weekend.

Orders placed over the weekend or on Friday after 3:30 pm will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

Delivery Terms

On delivery, you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Direct is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Direct of such within three working days from the date of delivery.

European Import Tax - Terms & Conditions

Standard European Delivery 1-11 days service £14.99

Shipping to: Republic of Ireland, France, Germany, Guernsey & Jersey.

Any goods shipped outside of the UK, over a certain value will incur an import tax. The cost and rate will be dependent on the country and the order value.

This is a legal requirement and MUST be paid prior to delivery in order to receive your goods.

The courier service will contact you once the order is dispatched to pay the appropriate import tax fee.

Failure to pay import tax when applicable will result in the order being shipped back to Audio Direct.

Any returned goods sent back to us due to a non-payment of import tax are NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund on the shipping charge.

We ask that you follow these guidelines to help us process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible

1. Please keep your order/Invoice reference number to hand when calling us.

2. Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 36 98 97 (e-mail info@audiodirect.co.uk or use our form). We will then issue you a return authorisation code and a PDF return form, which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s)

3. (If the order has been unpacked) repackage it to ensure that it is being returned in its original condition. Please make sure all items relating to the product are returned, including manuals and cables.

4. When returning an item, please use a tracked & insured courier service. Retain a ‘proof of postage’ receipt from the courier service.

RETURN TERMS & CONDITIONS

There are several conditions that we ask our customers to comply with when applying for a return authorisation code:

A. It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don’t tell us you want to make a return, we don’t know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.

B. Items that develop a fault within 60 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items.

C. If you have not requested a return within 60 days of receiving an order, we will have assumed that you intend to keep it, Return requests after 60 days and within the warranty period will be processed for a manufacturer's repair.

D. Items returned for a refund will be issued via the original payment method only, typically within 3 days of receiving the returned goods.

E. Replacement products are dispatched after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Audio Direct.
