We offer free standard shipping on qualifying orders of $49 or more within the contiguous United States.

Shipping rates and available delivery options are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping address and selected service.

At this time, we do not ship internationally, or to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Expedited shipping options, such as UPS 3 Day Select®, UPS 2nd Day Air®, and UPS Next Day Air®, may be available at checkout depending on your destination.

For your security, orders totaling $500 or more may require an adult signature upon delivery.

Order Processing

We stock the merchandise offered on our website whenever possible to provide fast order fulfillment.

Orders placed before 1:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, are typically processed and shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM, on weekends, or on holidays will generally be processed on the next business day.

Please note that carrier transit times are estimates and begin once your order has been shipped.

In-Store Pickup

We offer free in-store pickup at our Ann Arbor location.

If in-store pickup is available for your order, you can select it during checkout. Most pickup orders are ready within one hour during normal business hours.

We'll send you an email when your order is ready for pickup. Please wait for this notification before coming to the store.

If you prefer curbside pickup, simply call (734) 761-6207 when you arrive, and a member of our team will bring your order to your vehicle.

Local Same-Day Delivery

We offer free same-day local delivery within approximately 5 miles of our Ann Arbor store.

If your delivery address qualifies, the Free Same-Day Local Delivery option will automatically appear during checkout.

Orders placed before 4:00 PM Eastern Time are generally eligible for same-day delivery. Orders placed after 4:00 PM will typically be delivered on the following business day.

A member of our team may contact you to coordinate your delivery. Someone may need to be available to receive the order.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your shipment.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become available after your shipping confirmation email is sent.

International Shipping

At this time, we only ship within the United States.

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout, including major credit cards and other supported digital payment options.

If your purchase doesn't meet your expectations for fit, quality, or style, we're happy to help.

New, unworn, and unused merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Defective merchandise may be returned within 30 days for a full refund, including applicable shipping charges. If you believe you received a damaged or defective item, please contact us before initiating your return so we can assist you.

Start a Return

To begin a return or exchange, visit our online Returns Portal and enter your order information. Once your return request is approved, you'll be able to choose the available return options for your order.

Depending on the item and return reason, you may be able to:

Print a prepaid UPS return label (a return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund unless otherwise noted)

Return your order in person at our Ann Arbor store

Ship the package using your preferred carrier at your own expense

If you choose to use your own shipping carrier, we strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance and using a trackable shipping service. Bivouac is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit when using your own carrier.

Important Packaging Instructions

Please do not place shipping labels or packing tape directly on the manufacturer's shoe box.

The shoe box is considered part of the product packaging. If the shoe box is returned damaged because labels or tape were applied directly to it, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

Whenever possible, place the shoe box inside another shipping carton or mailer before attaching your shipping label.

Return Restrictions

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

Climbing equipment

Underwear (base layers may be returned if they otherwise meet our return requirements)

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you that it has been processed. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Items received as gifts may be returned for a gift card.

Exchanges

Need a different size or color? We're happy to help.

Eligible items may be exchanged within 30 days of delivery, subject to inventory availability.

To request an exchange, simply start your return through our Returns Portal and select the replacement item or size if available. If your requested item is no longer in stock, you'll be able to choose from the available return options.

Exchanges using our online portal include a prepaid return shipping label at no additional charge.

If you need assistance selecting a replacement item, our team is always happy to help.

In-Store Returns

Online purchases may also be returned or exchanged at our retail store during normal business hours.
