Contact Details Required: A valid phone number and email address are required at checkout. Many destinations (especially the USA) require this information for customs clearance and tracking updates. Unfortunately, Shopify does not allow country-specific checkout customisation, so we must request this information from all customers regardless of destination.

Postage Costs: Calculated automatically at checkout based on item weight and destination. Orders are shipped via tracked and/or signed-for courier services for security and compensation against loss/damage. International parcels are handed to local delivery partners on arrival.

Dispatch & Processing Times:

Orders are generally processed and dispatched within 3–5 working days.

Some items are printed to order; when this applies, it will be clearly stated on the product page.

Orders are dispatched on working days only (excluding bank holidays).

Delivery Timeframes (Guide):

UK: Typically 1–4 working days.

International: Transit times vary; customs can delay delivery up to 24 working days. Lost or significantly delayed items can only be claimed after 25 working days.

International Shipping:

We are working to increase the number of countries we ship to, though some exclusions may still apply.

Services vary by destination but always include tracked and/or signed-for options.

Customs & Duties:

Worldwide (excluding USA): Orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Customers are responsible for any VAT, import duties, or handling fees applied by their local customs authorities.

USA: Orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). A 10% tariff is added at checkout and prepaid by Tempest Terrain to ensure smooth customs clearance, with no additional charges on delivery.

Failed Deliveries/Returns: If a parcel is returned due to incorrect address or being unclaimed, we will contact the customer to arrange redelivery or refund. Additional postage may apply where the issue was not our fault. If no response is received within 3 months, the goods may be restocked.

EU Compliance: Tempest Terrain Ltd. works with an authorised EU representative and holds registrations for relevant EU packaging waste schemes. Customers in the EU remain responsible for import VAT/duties payable before delivery.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at tempestterrain@gmail.com . Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 29 Millfields, Nantwich, CW55HS, United Kingdom. If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The shipping cost of returns must be paid for by the customer making the return. You can always contact us for any return question at tempestterrain@gmail.com .

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned such as custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at tempestterrain@gmail.com.
