How do we ship?

We currently ship via USPS and UPS using either standard or expedited shipping.

When will I receive my package?

•Most orders will ship out of our store within 1 to 2 business days.

•During peak times, it may take a couple of days longer to ship but we work hard to ship your orders as soon as we can

•All orders are shipped from our store in Virginia and shipping time will largely depend on your distance from us.

•If you selected standard shipping, your order should arrive within 1-7 days after it leaves our store

•If you selected priority shipping, your order should arrive withing 1-3 days after it leaves our store

•If you are working on a tight deadline, please contact us via phone or email before ordering to ensure that we can meet your needs

•This is not a guarantee, but we will always make our best effort. You can track your order with the tracking number emailed you upon shipping. If you order never reaches you, please contact your local postal office or UPS with the tracking number. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by the USPS or UPS

My package has not arrived, what should I do?

Seller is not responsible for delayed or lost items. Please contact the USPS or UPS with the tracking number sent to you when your order has shipped. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by the USPS or UPS

Please note that the USPS does not consider a package as being lost in transit until it has spent at least 30 days in transit here in the US. If you think your package may have been lost in transit, please contact us right away and we will do our best to try and locate it and file a lost package claim through the USPS if necessary. Please note that we are NOT responsible for items lost or undelivered due to the wrong shipping address being submitted with your order.

Returned Packages

•If a package is returned to us for any reason we will contact you. If there was a mistake in the address on our end we will reship your order at no cost to you.

•If it has been returned to us because you listed the wrong address at checkout or any other reason and you choose to have us resend it then there will be additional shipping charges to reship your order. Payment for reshipping must be received before we will reship your order.

Do you ship internationally?

We do our best to ensure the accuracy of every order that is shipped out. Please check the accuracy of your order upon receipt. Any errors or damaged items must be reported to us within 5 days of receipt of your order.

For health and safety reasons, food and perishable products are not returnable or exchangeable except in cases in which Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies shipped the incorrect item.

Returns are allowed within 30 days on non-edible/perishable items that are in new and unused condition with all of the original packaging, manuals, accessories, etc. There will be no refund of shipping charges except in cases in which Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies shipped the incorrect product. If a product is found to be defective or damaged during shipping you will have the option to receive a replacement or a refund of the purchase price and shipping charges.

To return merchandise for a credit or a refund, pre-approval is required. Please contact us between the hours of 10am-6pm Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday – Saturday for a Return Authorization Number. All returns must be received by Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies within 14 days of the issuance of the Return Authorization Number.

There will be NO refund on original shipping charges or on return shipping charges, (unless we have made an error or incorrect items were sent). Please do not send any returns C.O.D. as they will not be accepted.

When we receive the returned items, a full refund will be issued in the form of payment that was used to make the original purchase.

If you receive damaged goods, please notify us within 5 days of receiving your order. Please, save your shipping box and packaging because it will need to be inspected by the carrier. If the box is discarded, claims cannot be filed for damaged goods or items.

Any order sent to a customer that is refused or is undeliverable will be charged the full shipping costs, including return shipping charges to Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies. Undeliverable packages are treated similar to orders for which an incorrect address has been provided by the customer or orders where the carrier has made three attempts to deliver and no one is available to accept the package.If you have given us an incorrect address at the time of ordering, we will reship the order at your expense. If you don’t want the order re-shipped, you will be charged a 10 % restocking fee, plus the shipping charges.Please reach out to us at (703)352-1471 or support@franscakeandcandy.com with any questions concerning our return and refund policy.

When ordering chocolate coatings, candles or other perishable items during hot weather months, you must do so at your own risk. If chocolate has melted into a chunk, simply re-melt and use. We will do everything possible to prevent damage but we cannot be responsible for products that melt or are damaged during shipping.

Items that are considered edible or perishable products and not returnable or exchangeable include, but are not limited to, the following:

Fondant and Gum Paste

•Buttercream, Royal Icing, Candy Writers, Gel Writers, Cookie Icing

All flavorings

All food colors, paints and markers

All petal, blossom, luster and disco dusts

All sprinkles including dragees, sugar pearls and glitter

Chocolate and candy coatings

Fillings

•Ingredients such as Citric Acid, Cream of Tartar, Baker’s Ammonia, Tylose, etc

Isomalt
