Delivery of Items

If an item is listed as “in stock” this refers to the stock status with our supplier and is not necessarily in our warehouse/ store. For example, an item sold quoting an estimated delivery time of “approximately 4-6 weeks” means that the item has not yet arrived in our warehouse and refers to the time it will take to reach us. As soon as your items arrive at our warehouse, we endeavour to dispatch them as soon as possible and will contact you to arrange a date and time that suits.

Due to our store being based in Northern Ireland, the delivery times quoted apply to Northern Ireland only and do not include the Republic of Ireland. Delivery to the Republic of Ireland is subject to longer delivery times, so please contact us before buying or view our delivery charges here .

Rugs and pillows/cushions are the only items that we can deliver to Mainland UK. If you have any enquiries regarding other items, please contact us on +44 (0) 28 3833 8824.

Our delivery drivers endeavour to remove all packaging from the item and dispose of any rubbish. Please note that our company and our drivers are not liable for any damage caused to you or your property when conducting deliveries. All items handled by you are at your own risk. All items are priced as flatpack on our website; however, we offer assembly at an additional cost which is listed on each product page.

We have provided clear measurements for all our items; therefore, please ensure that you are able to fit the item through doors and into your home.

Due to the nature of the goods (weight and size) and the unpredictable nature of home deliveries we advise that you grant us a couple of hours around your estimated delivery time. Due to the volume of items we sell, our couriers have a very busy schedule and deliveries may be conducted as early as 8am up till 6pm.

Most of our deliveries will be conducted by our courier service who will contact you directly to arrange delivery.

Please note: Framed pictures and mirrors cannot be shipped out due to their fragility. These items must be collected from our store in Portadown. Please select option 'Pickup in store' at checkout.

Assembly Service:

We offer an assembly service across Dublin, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Cavan and Northern Ireland in most cases.

For locations outside these areas, please contact us in advance. In certain instances, deliveries may need to be completed via courier, and assembly services may not be available.

Before Delivery:

Orders can be cancelled at any point up to 48 hours before delivery. Please contact our store directly if you wish to cancel an order. This does not apply to made to order items (please see below).

Made to Order Items:

Items from the brands listed below are made to order items. This means that these items are only put into production once we receive your order, therefore these items cannot be cancelled or changed after 24 hours of placing your order. Items from these brands cannot be returned or refunded once you have received your order.

Faulty Items/ Received the Wrong Item:

Goods can be returned if the wrong item has been received or if the item is faulty/ damaged. This could be a refund, repair or replacement which will be decided at our discretion.

All damages must be reported to us via email strictly within 24 hours of delivery. Please send photographic evidence of all damages.

All goods being returned must be as they were when delivered. The item must not have been used. If the item shows signs of use, we reserve the right to not issue a refund.

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your product please contact Beds and Sofas straight away. If your items are found faulty or not as described on delivery, please inform the Courier/Beds and Sofas delivery driver.

Fulfilled Orders:

If you find your product is unsuitable for your home, we will discuss the potential to refund your order at our discretion. In these cases, we will need to charge a minimum of €60 for the collection of your items.

Please Note: Any assembly charges will not be refunded.

Mattresses:

Please Note: mattresses cannot be returned once opened.

Refund Process:

Refunds for returned items will be credited to the card used for the original payment. Once the goods have been returned to the warehouse and they have been inspected, a refund usually happens within 24hrs, but can take up to 3 days to be issued.

Once issued, each bank will have different refund processing times, please contact your bank if you need more details.

If you wish to change or cancel an order before delivery, contact our Customer Service department via our contact page to discuss your options.
