Postage within Australia

Bambooty has a flat $19.99 postage rate Australia wide to stop the worry of extra costs. $19.99 postage gives you peace of mind of a fully trackable service. The safe delivery of your order will be made via Australia Post parcel services until further notice. Please note, we do not split orders. If your order contains a pre-order item the entire order will wait for this pre-order items to arrive and all be sent together. If you need anything urgently, please place separate orders for separate delivery time frames.

In one of our regular eco impact reviews of our business practices, we have noticed that one of our biggest rubbish creating (or single use plastics) areas is our shipping. So the exciting news is that all orders are now wrapped in Brown paper! Which we Love doing. It feels good! Just like using cloth nappies :D. We did however worry that the parcels could become damaged in transit or rained on and your beautiful Bambooty products would not arrive as we hope them to, every single time. So we now pack ALL orders in a complimentary reusable Wet-bag! Before wrapping in brown paper. The wet-bags used will be the smallest wet-bag your order will fit in, No requests can be taken for these wet-bags. We do hope you LOVE receiving your brown paper packages and keep reusing your wet-bags many many times!

Registered Post service is available upon request. Please leave a message as you checkout that you prefer to upgrade your shipping to registered post and we will adjust your order manually and charge actual shipping costs. Please note that registered post is not trackable.

International Postage

Actual international delivery costs will be automatically added to your order. Express Post International and Registered International services are both available at your request, please leave a message as you checkout that you prefer to upgrade your shipping and we will manually adjust your order.

In the interests of environmental conservation a tax invoice will be issued by email unless requested otherwise. All prices include GST which is automatically deducted during checkout for overseas orders.

Visit the Australia Post website to calculate approximate international shipping costs. Alternatively our website will calculate the post for your delivery address entered during the checkout process, prior to confirming your order. Often the cost of the post is offset by the GST being removed from the order total with overseas delivery addresses.

Delivery Time

All orders received prior to 9.00 am Monday through to Friday (public holidays excluded) are processed within 3-5 working weeks. This is per multiple notices displayed on the home page of the website since March/April of 2026. The warehouse has been moved/downsized and the owner has had a break of 3 weeks in April/May for the first time in over 18 years. We are catching up on orders and still working on the warehouses.

Closing down a business is an expensive and time consuming process. We thank you for your patience and for your orders, which help our gorgeous products going to landfill, which would be a much cheaper and far less time consuming process than sending out all your orders in my non-existent spare time. We are a business for the environment and the future of our children though! So we continue to work at finding the remaining Bambooty gorgeousness (inventory) loving homes.

Bambooty is a family friendly work place for ALL employees. During school holiday periods orders will be slower to ship than usual. We hope you too are enjoying time with your little people in your lives.

Delivery times can take up to 2-5 working days to the Eastern states, and 5-10 working days to Western Australia. Please note, Australia Post will not investigate a missing parcel until it has been missing for a minimum of 2 weeks. :( Thankfully this does not happen frequently though.

Your order will not ship until we receive payment.Please note that direct deposit payments may extend the processing of your order by up to a week.

At Bambooty we aim to please.

If an item does not meet your expectations we will gladly issue a replacement or exchange.

The following reasonable conditions apply to our Returns Policy:

1. Items must be returned in the original, undamaged packaging and in as-new re-saleable condition within 14 days of receipt of parcel per tracking information.

2. Packages must be returned complete.

3. Unless we made a mistake with your order, you are responsible for all shipping charges.

6. The sale items or clearance products are an exception to our Returns Policy. We will not offer refund, replacement or exchange for these products, they are sold as potentially faulty in the first place for one reason or another and the reduced cost reflects this.

7. There may be a small fees (normally not more than 10 % of the purchase price of your order) to help cover administrative costs and time.

8. Please note returns or exchanges can take up to 1 month to be processed from the day it is received back in the warehouse.

Warranty

1. All goods are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of three (3) months from the date of purchase.

2. At our discretion, we will organise repair or replacement.

3. Please email us at customerservice@bambooty.com.au for a Returns Authorisation Number before returning goods and include your receipt of purchase with your return.

4. Clearance products are sold at reduced prices as they do not carry any warranty, we do not vouch for their quality or any particular life span. These are clearance items as we deam then to be of lesser value and quality than our regular products.

You acknowledge that all measurements are approximate and that the reproduction of colours is as accurate as the photographic and production process will allow.

We appreciate it if customers inform us of any damage or defects in goods within 7 days of receipt.

We have used our best efforts to ensure that Bambooty products are safe and healthy for your child. We, however, expect a common sense and intelligent approach from our customers when using our products. The customer is responsible for determining whether a particular product is fit for use. If a customer installs any additional implements including but not limited to, safety pins, hooks, sewing pins onto our products we accept no liability from any damage caused by such implement. We strongly discourage installing additional implements to our products.

"Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure."
