Currently, we are offer free shipping on U.S. orders shipping to the lower 48 states. Unfortunately at the time we Do Not offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, PO Boxes, APO, FPO, DPO addresses or any international orders including Canada. Please let us know if you plan to have an item shipped to a “beyond point” or any other hard to get to area of the country to make sure additional charges do not apply.

Orders ship between 2-3 business days and are typically received within 14 days of the order confirmation. A tracking number will be provided as soon as the order is shipped. You will be notified if large items will need to receive a shipping window for you to be home upon delivery.

Our vendors use various shipment methods that are experienced in handling large bulky orders to prevent any damage from occurring during shipment. We can not be held responsible for items that could not be delivered due to errors such as an incorrect address or other delivery information made by the customer.

GFURN orders ship from Canada and may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination. You must check with your local authorities to find out what charges are applicable. We do not charge or collect duties/taxes for goods shipped from Canada. These taxes are paid by the customer upon arrival of the item(s).

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return (with the exception of items sent from Canada that have a 7 day return policy). To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase including any sku, ra or rma number of the item. If any item is not in it’s original packaging a 10%-40% restocking fee (depending on the vendor) may apply. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the vendor. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at info@villagehomefurniture.com .

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and inform the driver if the item is incorrect or damaged in any way and that you will not accept the item. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If you refuse an item without the item being damaged you could be charged a 20% restocking fee as well as shipping costs. Take at least 3 photos of the item including the box for digital photographic evidence. The resolution could be in the form of a refund, exchange or replacement of the item. We are not responsible for return shipping costs and in most cases will be the responsibility of the customer. Also, in most cases, the vendor will not refund the original shipping costs. Any dysfunctional items found after 7-14 days will have to be considered a warranty claim by the vendor depending on their warranty policies. Please contact us with any issues and we will always do our best to work with the vendor the best we can to resolve any issues if at all possible.

Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned such as certain sale or clearance items We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item or items.

Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds Refunds will be reviewed on a case by case basis and in accordance with the policies of the vendor. We will notify you once the vendor has received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 30 business days yet most refunds happen within 7 days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
