Now for the boring but important bit. We’re an easy-going kind of company but in this day and age, we do need to give you the heads up on some legal stuff. By choosing to shop with TREE, you accept our Terms and Conditions below and agree to be bound by them, and an agreement is formed between you and us.

DELIVERY

We will deliver your pieces with a true white glove service to you within the time we’ve quoted on your invoice or within such other time as may be informed to you by us.

We offer only a true White Glove Service especially for you. Your pieces are precious and we want you to receive them this way. Our White Glove Service is a premium delivery service and includes a scheduled appointment from either our trusted TREE in-house or one of our certified white glove delivery teams. We will unpack, assemble if necessary, and put in place your pieces exactly as you wish them and we will leave no footprint, taking all packing materials with us.

This may sound obvious, but please do check that your piece(s) will fit perfectly into your home. TREE cannot be responsible for the measurements of your home or property. Doorways, lifts and even stairwells can be surprisingly deceptive. If you have any questions check the measurements with us to be sure, please just let us know. We are here to help and can then easily arrange delivery to you.

Preparing for your Delivery; Measure Before You Purchase

Here are a few important questions you may need to consider:

•Will a delivery truck fit down your road?

•Are your driveway and sidewalk clear?

•Will your driveway hold a 26-foot truck?

•Will your new furniture fit through your hallway / all doorways / and up your stairway to where you wish to use it?

•Is your room ready for this perfect piece?

Before the delivery team arrives, prepare your home by doing the following:

•Secure low-hanging light fixtures

•Remove doors if necessary

•Set rugs in place

•Remove pictures or art

•Move other furniture

•Put pets in another room

If we are delivering to an apartment buildings, condominium, or your home has an elevator, please also be sure to measure the elevator interior height, elevator opening and opposite wall distance to ensure furniture will fit. If your building has a freight elevator, please reserve it in advance. Thanks, that will make for an easy experience all round.

Delivery Dates

The delivery timeline of your order is largely dependent on the order’s size as well as the point of origin of the products within it. And to be honest, lead times can occasionally be affected by unforeseen circumstances such as weather, customs controls and freight schedules. If there are any immediate changes to the status of your order, delays or otherwise, we will always do our best to reach out to let you know.

We strive to make sure that our furniture reaches you in its new home as soon as possible. But as there are many factors involved in the delivery process, any times quoted for delivery are genuine estimates only and are given in good faith, but are not guaranteed. Because of this, please understand that we are unable to accept any liability if there is any delay in delivery.

If you’d prefer to have your pieces delivered at a later date – we understand that remodels can take longer than planned or you hoped – no problem, we will be happy to hold and store your pieces as your bailee – we will store your pieces separately and in an safe and secure place, clearly showing your legal and beneficial ownership of the Pieces and ensuring that they are clearly identifiable as your Pieces. We will be happy to store these pieces for you free of charge.

Shipping

Trust us to find the best way to ship these to you - safely and conserving materials and $ for you.

Delivery charges are based on the total weight of the merchandise shipped to each address. This option is presented at checkout if the item in question is stocked by TREE. Should you require express shipping for an item, please contact us directly to learn more about availability.

While we do our best to provide the most accurate and up-to-date lead times online and in-store, items are occasionally backordered. Backordered items will ship upon availability. Should there be any change in delivery timeframe, we will contact you as soon as possible. Further details can be found on our Shipping and Delivery page.

Return and Exchanges

During delivery, please inspect your furniture thoroughly and report any manufacturer's defect or damage to the delivery team to resolve your claim as quickly as possible. Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges Policy for further details

THE LEGAL BIT

A few final legals which are dull but essential. Namely, that we shall not, except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, be liable to you by reason of any representation or implied warranty, condition or other term or any duty at common law, or under the Terms and Conditions, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise) costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether occasioned by negligence of ours or our employees or agents or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with any act or omission of ours relating to the supply of the pieces, their use or resale by you or their use by any customer, and our entire liability hereunder shall not exceed the price of the Pieces.

We don’t just want you to like your purchases from TREE - we want you to love these pieces in your home.

But in the unlikely event you don’t, we promise to work with you to make it right. We want everything to be easier in this busy world.

Non-furniture

Non-furniture returns and exchanges will be accepted within 30 days from the date of receipt for a full credit or refund. You simply need to return your purchase in its original condition and packaging, with either a Packing Slip or Store Receipt within this time. We will then refund you the purchase price in the original form of tender. Shipping charges are non-refundable with the exception of damaged or defective merchandise.

If you’ve received a gift purchased from TREE that you would like to return, you can exchange it for a store or web credit at the prevailing retail price on the date of return.

Replacement items shipped in response to missing, lost, stolen, damaged and/or manufacturer defect claims are returnable for Store Credit only.

Returns by Parcel Post

To return non-furniture items by mail, please contact TREE at orders@tree.co or 833.855.8733 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please clearly mark the RMA# on the outside of the package, prepay postage, insure and send via a trackable method to:

Stock Furniture

If you decide to return furniture that is stocked by TREE, you must do so with receipt of items in original condition within 30 Days. Your refund will be equal to the original purchase price minus a 20% restocking fee and delivery charges (both to and from the original delivery address) – this is common practice within the design and furniture field. Your refund will be issued to the original form of tender.

Custom Orders

Custom Orders are pieces that TREE have ordered specifically for you, they are not from-stock. In many cases the style, size, fabric, wood, finish colors, or any number of other options have been specifically ordered especially for you. Any Custom Order cancellations must be received and acknowledged within 48 hours of order placement. No cancellations will be accepted after then.

Please understand

Naturally, we cannot accept returns of Custom Orders, commissioned or bespoke pieces, damaged pieces, TREE gift vouchers, plants, unwrapped mattresses, bed linens, cushions or rugs. Sale or discounted items, replacement items, one off items and any items damaged after you have acknowledged receipt are also not eligible for exchange.

Claims

TREE stands by the good design, honest quality, and craftsmanship of our furniture and curated collections.

We partner with best-in-class freight carriers and for our last mile delivery to you, we offer a true White Glove Delivery service. We have only one standard of service – the best. We will never leave your pieces at your doorstep. We will unpack, assemble, and put your new pieces just exactly where you want them, leaving taking all packing materials with us.

Though we take every precaution, we understand that defects can go undetected and damage can occur during transit. And, we strongly encourage you to inspect your purchase thoroughly as soon as you receive it. In the event a manufacturer's defect or damage is discovered, please bring it to the delivery staff's attention there and then and note on the Delivery Order with your signature.

Unless otherwise instructed by a TREE staff member, ALL damaged or defective items should be returned with the freight carrier. We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any defective merchandise or any merchandise damaged in transit at no charge.

With this in mind, please do contact us at 833.855.8733 within 24 hours and one of our staff will assist you with your claim. Supporting images or documentation can be sent to orders@tree.co. Any claims made 24 hours after the delivery date will not be accepted.
