JackStock Haberdashery prices are always competitive. We do not incorporate shipping costs into our product pricing. To keep costs down and to pass the savings onto our customers, we charge standard shipping and postage rates.

In Australia, we offer shipping by:

•Australia Post (Parcel Post and Express Post).

•Courier using Aramex.

•Same day delivery for Melbourne metro only (additional cost - please contact us for quote)

•Warehouse pick up.

We ship to New Zealand and other international locations with:

When will my order ship?

We're always working to get your orders on their way to you as quickly as we can. Most orders will be dispatched within 1-2 business days, though there may be some delays around sales and peak periods. You'll get a notification when your order has started its journey so you can track its progress.

If your order includes items cut-to-order, we do not guarantee same-day/next-day dispatch. Please factor in extra time for production and shipping if you require items by the metre.

Please allow additional time for custom and special orders. We use a range of manufacturers and can be affected by delays beyond our control. We will provide an estimate of shipping time and costs to custom and special-order customers.

Why do shipping costs vary?

We sell thousands of items that vary in weight and size. Items in your shopping cart will affect the shipping options available to you and the cost. All shipping companies charge by cubic weight.

Due to the many variations in product dimensions, we are unable to offer flat-rate or free shipping. This also enables us to keep prices low rather than asking all customers to absorb shipping costs no matter the weight of their parcel. So, if your shipment is light, you will pay less than a customer whose shipment is heavier.

We reserve the right to change your carrier if we are unable to send an item for the paid shipping fee. For example, if your order is over 1.05m in length we cannot send with Australia Post and will send with Aramex or similar courier service. Orders containing multiple parcels will be sent by courier, as these are not accepted by Australia Post.

When will my order arrive?

For orders shipping to Australian addresses, allow 2-5 business days for it to arrive. Most of our orders will ship with Australia Post or Aramex so tracking information will be provided by email. Once your order leaves our warehouse, we have no control over its handling and the tracking information will give you a more accurate estimate for when your order might arrive. Only orders shipped via Australia Post can be delivered to PO boxes.

If you need your order quickly ( and it does not contain non-Aus Post items such as fabric rolls ), you can select Express Post at checkout, which will usually be delivered in 2-3 business days depending on location within Australia. Please note that Australia Post no longer guarantees next-day delivery for Express Post items.

Melbourne Metro customers can use a same-day courier service. We recommend using a business address where someone will be available to receive the goods.

These services may have a higher fee based on the weight and volume of goods. Please contact us for a quote.

International orders

We ship daily to New Zealand and the Pacific region. Please send an email enquiry if your country is not on our list of available shipping destinations.

International orders can be shipped with Australia Post, DHL or FedEx. If you would prefer a quote for shipping please email sales@jackstock.com.au and we would be happy to arrange an estimate.

JackStock is not responsible for any customs requirements when your order reaches its destination. Delays in international shipping are unpredictable, so we are unable to offer shipping time estimates for orders shipped outside Australia at this time.

JackStock is not liable for delays once orders are dispatched from our premises.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. We are unable to take items that have been used or cut. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Exceptions / non-returnable itemsExceptions apply to change of mind, finding a cheaper price, damage in transit or misuse. Products purchased with identified soiling or flaws and sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange.

Returns and exchanges are not available for the following products:

•sewing threads

•intimate apparel including bra cups and underwires

•items sold by-the-metre or cut-to-order, including elastic, tape, fusing and interlining

•custom and special-order items

•sale items

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Return processPlease contact us sales@jackstock.com.au for returns. Note that some items are not eligible for return - see above. You are responsible for returning the product if it can be posted or easily returned, tracking and insurance for return parcels is recommended as we are not liable for loss or damage in transit.Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
