All orders received before 1pm Mon-Fri are sent out the same day. For UK Mainland addresses you can choose between a 24hr or 48 hr service which are working-day services and a Saturday service as an option, or by Royal Mail (1st class) depending on the value of the order. For Northern Ireland we use DHL or an equivalent service; please allow a minimum of 48 hours for delivery. Royal Mail 1st class is also available for NI and Channel Islands. Outlying UK areas will be a minimum of 2 workings days regardless of service, but may be longer depending on conditions at the time of transit - see DHL map HERE . Please contact us if clarification is needed. We reserve the right to use a different courier depending what is available to us at the time and what we believe will offer you the best service in your area.

Despatches are on working days only and transit times are all in working days.

We have introduced a set of carriage options to try to ensure that you have the best choice for the type of order that you are placing. The list below explains the default shipping services for each area/country we sell to, and a drop down menu at Checkout will allow you to manually chose an option that will suit you best for your delivery address.

Standard UK Delivery:

a) 24 hour Tracked by Royal Mail (available on orders under £150 - unless weight or size of item prevents it being sent by post). Order deadline is 1pm weekdays

b) 48 hour Tracked by Royal Mail (available on orders under £150 - unless weight or size of item prevents it being sent by post). Order deadline is 1pm weekdays

c) Tracked 2 working day service by DHL (available on all order values) Order deadline is 1pm weekdays - restrictions apply ; see DHL map HERE

d) Tracked 1 working day service by DHL (available on all order values) Order deadline is 1pm weekdays - restrictions apply ; see DHL map HERE

e) Tracked Saturday service by DHL (available on all order values) Order deadline is 1pm Fridays - only available to certain post codes; see DHL map HERE

Non-Mainland UK delivery areas can take significantly longer than the service paid for; e.g. a 24 hour service may take 2-3 working days due to transit times via island airports/ports - restrictions apply.

The checkout will automatically list the services for you - 48hr and 24hr services or Saturday service can be chosen on any value of order.

Please note that transit times are in weekdays only and we do not deliver on Sundays or Public Holidays unless items are arriving with Royal Mail and those services are applicable to your area. All deliveries are dependent solely on the shipping company once the goods have left our premises.

If you use your mobile number as your main contact number then tracking information and delivery advice will be sent to your mobile by the shipping company.

PLEASE NOTE THESE SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS:

Drivers cannot leave goods unattended at delivery addresses unless instructed; this invalidates the insurance and your items will not be covered if they go missing. Customers have other convenient delivery options such as leave with neighbour, which will be detailed in the tracking information provided by the carrier.

If a delivery cannot be made Drivers will leave a card with instructions on your availabe options. After a period of time the parcel may be returned to Brushwood Toys depending on the carriers policy and will require a further shipping charge to re-deliver.

Northern Ireland:Courier and postal services are all available. Shipping takes approximately 2-3 working days, but may subject to customs inspections and can therefore be delayed.

All orders to the Republic of Ireland require an Eire Code without fail. Shipping can take approximately 4-7 working days, but may subject to customs inspections and can therefore be delayed. Refund & Returns Policy (including items returned for an exchange)

We will always try to facilitate a return and/or replacement of your items, so please do contact us as soon as you can, or you can initiate a return via your online customer account profile. This is all rather dull, but there are various conditions relating to returns that we have listed below, please read them as it will help process your return much more efficiently. Please note shipping policy below for packing your item for return.

Returns are valid for 30 days from date of purchase. To be elgible for a return, your item must be unused, in original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be packaged to at least the standard in which we shipped it to you. Please include a copy of your order and the reason for the return. Where applicable (i.e. warranty returns) we cover cost of returns by 2nd class post only.

Replacement products will not be dispatched until the faulty item is received by us. We will always inspect each return when it arrives with us and contact you if there is any reason why a full refund or exchange cannot be made.

We are happy to accept wrongly ordered items for a refund, however they must be in as new condition, with the boxes unopened. You will be responsible for any returns postage.

Order CancellationOrders can be cancelled within 14 days of order placement without giving a reason, unless the order has been dispatched, in which case a return can be initiated. You can exercise this right via your online customer account or by contacting us direct. Contact Page.

The cost of return shipping for cancelled orders will be bourne by you the customer. Your refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the full order back at Brushwood Toys warehouse.

Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received it will be inspected, and if a refund is applicable we will use the same payment method used to purchase the product.Sale items (if applicable) Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Replacements (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Replacement products will be dispatched as soon as we have received and inspected the faulty returned item. Exchanges (if applicable)Our standard policy on exchanges is to refund the unwanted item when received by us, and you will process a new order for the desired new product.

Please ensure that the packaging used for returning the item is robust enough to protect it in transit. We recommend packing your returns in a strong cardboard box, with suitable packaging within such as paper or bubblewrap. We reserve the right to deduct any damages from any refund given if applicable. We will inspect each return when it arrives with us and contact you if there is any reason why a full refund or exchange cannot be given.

PLEASE DO NOT TAPE ANYTHING TO THE PRODUCT BOX. This will mean we cannot re-stock the item and it may affect the level of refund you receive.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item in the first instance. The postage cost up to our standard allowance, will be refunded to you on receipt of the items.

We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item and you must make your own arrangements for returns carriage. If you wish to use a tracked service then you should do so at your own cost.
